02:30 PM Hello and welcome to Khel Now's live coverage of the Durand Cup 2021. The tournament kicked off on September 5, with Mohammedan SC securing a win over Indian Air Force in the season opener. Today we have two games: Jamshedpur FC vs Army Green and CRPF vs Mohammedan SC. Myself, Uttiyo Sarkar - will be keeping you company here, through a fascinating evening of football.

Jamshedpur FC vs Army Green: Build up

As we head closer to the knock-out stages of the 130th Durand Cup it will be Jamshedpur FC who will be taking on the 2016 Durand Cup Champions Army Green in Group B to be played at the Mohun Bagan Football Ground from 3:00 PM IST onward and will be streamed LIVE on the Addatimes app.

Jamshedpur FC already have one win under their belt courtesy a 34th minute goal by Lalruatmawia against Sudeva Delhi FC in their first encounter of the tournament. They currently sit second in Group B.

The ISL side will be looking to seal the deal with a win over of Army Green who lost their first match against FC Goa by 2-0. 

While Jamshedpur FC, who have fielded a relatively younger side will be going into the match with the confidence of a win behind them, it will be do or die for the Indian Army outfit and a loss in this match will mean that they will mostly be out of the tournament.

The second game of the day will be between CRPF and Mohammedan SC. Top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter finals scheduled to kick-off from September 23, 2021.
