I am always here for our fans, I will not hide, no one can hide- Marco Silva

The toffees are 14th placed team in the Premier League having lost three of the six games.
Everton manager, Marco Silva was not happy with his players as the toffees lost 0-2 against newly-promoted Sheffield United. This loss takes their tally to three losses from their last four Premier League matches this season, as the situation is piling pressure on the former Watford manager.
Silva, who was displeased with his players, accused them of underperforming after a horrid start to their Premier League campaign. Everton are currently languishing in 14th position on the league table with only two wins and a draw from the opening six fixtures of the Premier League.
Silva who was trusted with the squad to take them to the next level is under immense pressure and therefore before their League Cup trip to Sheffield Wednesday, the Spaniard lashed out at his players.
“It is not the moment for anyone to hide,” Silva said. “I said it inside the dressing room, too (after the Sheffield United defeat), there is nowhere we can hide, we have to show stronger character, personality.
“It is a moment for us to go and play football and to take responsibility as well... I am always here for our fans, I will not hide, no one can hide.”
The Toffees had a busy transfer window as players like Moise Kean, Alex Iwobi, Jean Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph and Jonas Lossl arriving at the Goodison Park. Former FC Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes also made his move to Merseyside permanent in this window.
Whiles things have not yet gone out of hand and there is still time for Marco Silva to redeem himself. However, with a tough round of fixtures coming their way, things will only get difficult from here on for Everton.
Since last season the Toffees have struggled to defend set-pieces as they have conceded 20 goals from corners and freekicks - most by any team in the Premier League. The club also failed to sign any central defender during the transfer window as Kurt Zouma's replacement as the Frenchman went back to Chelsea.
With things not going the right way Silva was quizzed about his stance of making drastic changes to the starting eleven from here on, but the Spanish tactician refused to answer the question directly.

“We have to be strong, we want to go to the next round, so that is what we want, a reaction in this game.”
