The name of the celebration is Arcadia Spectacular.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is just around the corner, and new-new things are being unveiled to make it as exciting as possible. The tournament will begin with Qatar versus Ecuador on 20 November and conclude with the final on 18 December. Amidst nonstop action for almost one month in Qatar, the organizers have also been working relentlessly on making hospitality luxury. The organizers have recently announced a "Desert Festival" that is expected to thrill all fans travelling to the World Cup.

What is the Desert Festival?

The desert festival will be organized by Glastonbury festival promoter Arcadia. They have reportedly asked for permission from concerned authorities in the Middle East. The Festival is expected to be named 'Arcadia Spectacular' and will be able to accommodate 15,000 fans each day.

The event will feature global music stars and DJ houses, and importantly fans can drink alcohol for up to 17 hours a day. These details are still being worked out as the higher authorities must approve this event before it can be announced.

Where, when, cost and other details

As of now, the Desert Festival is still in its infancy, but it is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. There is no official information as to where the event will be held by promoters, but it is expected to be somewhere between Doha's airport and the Souk Al-Wakrah Hotel where the English national team will be staying.

As per reports, the price of the event will be £50 per day and alcohol to start from as low as £8. However, organisers have yet to confirm details about pricing. But have promised that drinks will be served from 10 am until 3 am the next morning.

Free Fan Festival also on cards by the Organisers

The Organisers of the Desert Festival have not only considered the interests of the wealthy. But have also considered those who cannot afford the £50 ticket price. They are expected to set up a free fan festival at Al Bidda Park in the heart of Doha. The festival is also expected to serve drinks from 5 PM to midnight.

The Glastonbury promoters Arcadia have promised to make this festival an unforgettable experience, and so far their plans are extraordinary. In the Middle East, however, alcohol laws are extremely strict, and drinking in public is a criminal offence. There are only a few certified bars and restaurants that are allowed to sell alcohol with a supreme delicacy. It was heavily criticized by travelling fans, especially English fans since Qatar was announced as the host country for FIFA World Cup 2022.
