Football in England is back after a halt of more than three months.

It’s back, finally! After Bundesliga’s heroic return and La Liga’s follow-up, Premier League is back to business and that means so is the fan-favourite Fantasy Premier League. The teams are all set to resume their campaign.

Manchester City and Arsenal play twice this gameweek with one of the matches pitting them against one another. City faces Burnley at Etihad while Arsenal travels south to take on Graham Potter’s Brighton. Another headline grabber of the week is Manchester United’s trip to Tottenham as the race for the fourth heats up.

Fellow competitor Chelsea is away from home at Birmingham to face Aston Villa. League leaders Liverpool aim to strengthen their hold on the title  with a win at Everton in the second Merseyside Derby of the campaign.

Gameweek 30+ Line-up

With the team there is, the most suited formation is 4-3-3. Rui Patricio is the keeper with Matt Ryan moving to the bench. In defense, Andrew Robertson, James Tarkowski and Caglar Soyuncu are joined by vice-captain John Lundstram who has two matches this week.

Sadio Mane will be on the look-out to continue his goal-scoring exploits alongside and takes a spot in the midfield with Joao Moutinho. Kevin De Bruyne’s double-header week makes him the easy choice for a captain and he completes the midfield triumvirate. Todd Cantwell and Ayoze Perez move to the bench. Tammy Abraham, Danny Ings and Jamie Vardy start as the front three.

Tips and Tricks

  1. Double- Header- Arsenal, Manchester City, Sheffield Wednesday and Aston Villa have two matches this week. If you have the wildcard option or free hit available, now would be a good time to use it to stock up on players from these four teams, particularly Manchester City who have both games at home.
  2. Captain – Manchester City players should gain priority as captain choices particularly as they have two matches this week and both the matches are at home. The onus should be on a regular starter like Sergio Aguero or Kevin de Bruyne rather than possible substitutes like Raheem Sterling or David Silva. John Lundstram is a good non-Manchester City option for the captain this week. This also seems the ideal week to triple captain a Manchester City player.
