Churchill Brothers scored three past Guardian Angel SC to gain three points in the Goa Professional League match played at Village Panchayat Ground, Nagoa, on Saturday. Darren, Ponif Vaz and Clencio Pinto scored for the Red Machines.

In the second half, Churchill Brothers SC looked more determined to score as their players were seen making runs in the opposition box, which wasn’t seen in the first half.

They almost doubled the account whenRichard Costa did everything right getting past the defenders but his effort hit the post. Churchill Brothers’ Lalengzama also tried his luck at the rival goal but his shot didn’t create any danger with the keeper collecting the ball safely.

In the 75th minute, Churchill Brothers scored a well deserved goal when Ponif Vaz dribbled past the entire Guardian Angel left back and placed the ball in bottom left corner, 2-0.

Clencio had a golden opportunity to script his name when he got the ball in front of the goal, however with no keeper in the frame, the lad failed to hit the frame. However, the former Salgaocar FC keeper made amends to his earlier missed and scored the third for Churchill Brothers to make issues face for Churchill Brothers and seal all three points.
