90+3' Shillong win a free kick in own half as Sana tries to play it into the box. Pena heads it but no one gets to the rebound. Isaac crosses but Anas clears. MB launches again but Norde wastes it, sending it into Kaith's arms!

90+1' Shadap gets a yellow as he bursts into Norde. Should keep his calm! Norde on the free-kick. Norde crosses it well, Sehnaj wins the rebound and shoots, Kaith collecting it.

89' Sana and Jeje share a light moment as the defender clutches him strongly in a light moment. Happy moments like this are rare in Indian football. Raju again, throws in a long ball as three minutes of injury time is given. Kaith kicks it but is poor in connecting it.

VISHAL KAITH is the hero of the match! Has made a lot of good saves and has kept the team into the game!

88' MB tries to make something happen as captain Yusa runs into the box but is blocked by Sana. Shillong counters as Bipin tries a shoot from the left cut in. Flies over the top right corner. He should've done better there.

87' Kinowaki plays a brilliant throw ball to Shadap on the right wing, who crosses with the first touch. The ball curls in from outside the pitch as Debjit gets to shoot again.

85' Kinowaki picks up another loose ball and goes on a run. Looses the ball in the opposition box. The Japanese is peeless.

84'  MB come close as Kaith saves a shot from captain Yusa. Norde curls in a free kick as Samuel brings his down. Jeje tries to make it work acrobatically, but pushes it over the ball.

83' Bipin Singh tries a good left footer but it is just wide. Shillong has upped the ante.

82' Lajong working hard in the opposition half as Sehnaj brings Dicka down. Isaac with another deep free kick on the second post but Debjit collects.

79' Prabir tries to cross in as Pritam clears his lines. Corner to MB. Yusa taking it to the second post. Free kick to Shillong for infringement from an MB player!

78' DICKA SCORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!      The scores are level! To the right, powerful and Debjit has nothing to do. Everything to play for again! The game is picking up the energy in the last 15 minutes!

76' PENALTY TO SHILLONG!!!! Superb drama! Fabio tries a shot as Sehnaj blocks it with his hand. Yellow for the midfielder. Dicka standing over the spot kick.

75' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL! Brilliant ball from Sehnaj! Lob from the centre of the park. Jeje controls well and lobs it over an out-rushing Kaith. JEJE might just've win it for MB.

Samuel Lalmuanpuia makes way for Fabio De La Pena. The Brazilian can do things for Shillong.

74' Norde hasn't been at his best today. The turf seems to be troubling his errant right knee. The Haitian is trying to cross from far and hasn't made enough take-ons.

72' Duffy pushesKinowaki to win the ball. Too excited, the Scot. MB was on the counter and lost possession and another chance.

71' Shillong re-gain possession and win a throw in from the right as the imperious Gaikwad clears one again. Corner to Lajong won after another clearance.

69' Please leave your suggestions and reviews in the comments' section guys. The game is interesting and we will keep bringing you the best insights in Indian football. Eduardo clearing his line well, meanwhile.

68' Jeje comes in for Balwant Singh is as unpredictable as my board results! (Guys, I was a pretty good student) . .

67' Samuel is pulled down by Gaikwad as Shillong win another free kick close to the right wing. Tlang tries to convert it with a frick, but couldn't keep it on target.

65' Dicka plays a ball to Samuel on the right wing. Curls it in as Shillong win another corner by a Gaikwad clearance. Sent across the far post, Tamang heads it to Dicka who fails to add power and Debjit collects it.

63' Fereira fails to clear a header and Bipin picks and plays it to Isaac, who curls it in only in the hands of Debjit. Not a good day for the creative No. 13.

62' Debjit and Tlang go into a clash while vying for a ball from the right. Tlang getting medical attention.

59' Bipin wins a corner after Isaac feeds him on the left. Isaac curls it over the second post as Raju heads it out. Bipin will take it.

58' Derby hero Norde whips in a cross from the left as Balwant heads it over and wide. MB coming closer to what they want. Lajong allowing more space to the visitors gradually

57' Balwant runs with the ball and trips. Loses balance. Shillong regain possession. The quality has been good in the 12 minutes of the second half.

56' Isaac should've done better as Samuel plays a good  ball to him outside the box. Debjit collects comfortably. In the other half, Kinowaki and Duffy fight it out.

55' Sehnaj wins another yellow as he brings down Bipin. Isaac curls the ball in, but Debjit collects comfortably. Samuel, Tlang and Dipanda Dicka combine, but could not control it well as MB gain control

54' Norde, Balwant and Duffy yet again combine to make something happen as Balwant gets a shoot. Should have done much better as it flies over the bar. MB growing into the game.

52' Sehnaj intercepts a ball in the opposition half, plays it to Balwant who lines it to Norde. The Haitian hits it for a six! Also, Kinowaki fights it with Katsumi on the left wing in a Japanese warrior fight!

50' Samuela tries the spectacular from a 40 yard free kick. Over the bar.

49' Balwant, Norde and Yusa combine to attack as Mohun Bagan win a throw in on the left flank. First real build up for MB in the second half. Gaikwad's throw was cleared. Sehnaj with a shot from the outside of his foot but easy collection for Vishal.

48' Bipin gets a ball on the left wing, cuts in and curls, only into the hands of Debjit. The energy is back on the pitch for Shillong.

47' Kinowaki has been an absolute rock for the Reds today. Shadap plays a ball to Dicka in the box, but it is a little too heavy. Bagan trying to build from the back.

46' Prabir Das comes on for Azharuddin Mallick as both teams change directions. Prabir comes on and Sehnaj tackles Japanese midfielder Kinowaki.

Lajong has been a ticking bomb against Mohun Bagan today. When will they burst? Or are they done with the attacking flavour? We'll have to wait and watch as the teams walk back on the pitch. Shillong and MB have huddled together and are looking to change things!

FIRST HALF REVIEW:

Interesting half. Lajong were all over Bagan in the first half hour as they forced a couple of good saves out of the keeper. The Mariners have had a spell of their own but it hasn't clicked in the final third for them. We are goalless. Hopefully that changes in the second half. Back in a bit.

45+2' There goes the whistle for the break.

45+1' Into a minute of added time.

43' Duffy combnes with Norde who takes a shot and earns a corner. Its clipped in and cleared.

40' Bagan free-kick lifted in but Fereira's header is into the ground and over.

39' Lajong counter and as a cross comes in Edathodika is there with a crucial tackle.

37' Lovely ball in by Kotal and Balwant with a brilliant header but the keeper is equal to it.

34' Duffy leads a Bagan attack but Tamang gets it clear. Gaikwad's long throw is a good one but the keeper catches it.

31' Past the half hour mark and Bagan are camped in their own half.

28' Another nice Lajong move and lovely play by Tlang as he darts into the box and cuts in. As he tries to square it to Dicka, Edathodika steps in and clears.

24' If you're wondering why we haven't mentioned Norde yet, its because the Haitian has hardly kicked in the ball.

21' Isaac free-kick from the left is overhit and goes out of play.

18' TWO massive chances for Lajong. First, some good play by Samuel results in a shot from distance that Debjit palms onto the bar and a shot hits the side-netting. Next, a cross into the box plays in Dicka but he shoots straights at the keeper with the goal gaping.

5' CHANCE! A Lajong attack results in a corner. Swung into the far post by Isaac ad headed across the face if goal but the keeper gathers.

12' Cross into the box. Miscued clearance by Fereira but as Dicka tries to make the most of it Bagan clear.

10; OFFSIDE! Dicka played in with a ball over the top but the offside flag goes up.

9' Issac with a corner swung in and cleared.

7' Bagan caught napping and Dicka gets in a header which goes wide.

5' Quiet start to the game. Duffy with an early foray forward which is cleared.

4' This game also features the league's top scorer Dicka. Can he add to his tally?

2' Interesting to see who wins the battle of the Japanese Kinowaki Vs Yusa. Who are you supporting?

1' We just kickoff here in Lajong.

4:30 pm The teams are coming out and kickoff is next. Stay tuned.

04:00 pm: Hello and welcome to the I-League game between East Bengal FC vs Shillong Lajong FC. This is your host Mrunal Nakashe, commentating live from the match.

Mohun Bagan aims to keep their surge towards the top alive when they travel to play Shillong Lajong at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday. The Mariners are enjoying some brilliant form at the right end of the season and can gain a 2 point lead over Aizawl FC at the top of the table if they overcome the threat of this young and dangerous Shillong side. Both sides were victorious at the weekend in Round 15, as Shillong solidified their top-3 hopes with a fighting 3-2 away win against DSK Shivajians, while Mohun Bagan ousted their city rivals East Bengal to leap over them to the 2nd spot in the table. This match definitely has a lot hanging in the balance with the Mariners and Lajong both eyeing a win, and the teams' attacking style of football could make for a treat for the fans.
