The 33-year-old made only two appearances in the ISL last season, with SC East Bengal.
I-League outfit RoundGlass Punjab are all set to complete the signing of CK Vineeth, Khel Now can confirm. The experienced striker is the fourth former Bengaluru FC star that the club will rope in, following their recent acquisitions of Shankar Sampingiraj, Robin Singh and Rino Anto.
"CK Vineeth will join RoundGlass Punjab FC. He has already agreed terms with the club," sources close to the developments informed Khel Now. The club from Punjab announced the signings of Sampingiraj, Robin and Rino recently. This was after they roped in former Bengaluru FC head coach Ashley Westwood last month.

Hailing from Kannur in Kerala, CK Vineeth began his football career with SN College. Amateur stints at Calcutta Customs and Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) followed, before his signing with Chirag United Kerala (formerly Viva Kerala).
The striker made his professional debut with Chirag United in the I-League 2010-11 season and also scored a goal in his very first game. Two seasons later, he shifted base to United SC (then Prayag United) and once again, scored on his debut. Vineeth went on to scale more heights at his next club Bengaluru FC, where he joined in the year 2014. The 33-year-old won the I-League twice and the Federation Cup once with the Blues, during a three-year stint with them.
In between, he also played on loan for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League (ISL), scoring several crucial goals, especially in the 2016 season when the Yellow Army reached the final. The Kerala-based player was also the top scorer among Indian players in the league that year. Ahead of the 2017-18 season, KBFC made his signing permanent.

Since then, he has also played for Chennaiyin FC, Jamshedpur FC and SC East Bengal. Also an Indian international, CK Vineeth has registered over 40 goals in more than 185 appearances for club and country. Four of those strikes came in the AFC Cup, where he has represented both Bengaluru FC and Chennaiyin.
RoundGlass Punjab's pre-season preparations
As mentioned already, RoundGlass Punjab have signed three other ex-BFC stars already. Their chief tactician Westwood has also plied his trade at the Blues earlier.
RGPFC finished fourth in I-League 2020-21, behind Gokulam Kerala, Churchill Brothers and TRAU FC. Although they were regarded as one of the favourites when the season began, they could not meet fans' expectations. The club also parted ways with their then head coach Curtis Fleming and are all set for a new beginning in the forthcoming season. As of now, I-League 2021-22 will be held in December.
