Shahabaaz Khan: Jack of all trades
The left-back will shore up the defence and he also offers quality in the attacking final third. He possesses good physical attributes and can hurt the opposition with his pace and robustness. The 23-year-old full-back can play on either wing and has the potential to put a shift in an advanced position as well. He is not only a solid defender, but also takes set-pieces and aims to get into scoring positions.
Player profile
Shahabaaz Khan has represented a few I-League clubs in the past. His first professional experience was with Real Kashmir, after which he moved to Bengaluru FC’s reserve squad. Khan was playing for TRAU FC up until last season and will now play for SDFC from 2021/22 onwards.
The 23-year-old hails from Manipur and is an upcoming prospect in Indian football. He would look at the upcoming opportunity to stamp his authority and attract attention from the ISL. He has played in the Second Division League (19 times) and the I-League (18 times).
