The reverse fixture ended up as a 2-0 defeat for the Kerala-based side.

Southerners FC Kerala will face Bengaluru-based outfit Ozone FC in a crucial Second Division I-League fixture at Bangalore Football Stadium tomorrow (Monday). The visitors thrashed Kerala Blasters (Reserves) 5-1 in their last game. Sreyas struck a hat-trick, while Jithin and Haris scored a goal each. FC Kerala lead Group B with 16 points from 7 games, while Ozone collected 14 points from 6 games.

“I am happy with the way the team played against Kerala Blasters (Reserves) in Kochi. We dominated possession and converted our chances. Ozone is a good side and very dangerous at their home. But I am confident we can beat them. We are targeting three points and will fight till the final whistle,” said head coach T.G. Purushothaman

FC Kerala started their league campaign with a 2-1 victory over Fateh Hyderabad AFC at home. They blanked Madhya Bharat SC 3-0 in the next game. The southerners held FC Goa (Reserves) to a goalless draw in their first away outing and claimed a 2-0 win over Madhya Bharat in Bhopal.
