It is learnt that the deal is for eight years and both parties will have an equal amount of share.

I-League outfit Mohammedan SC have finally roped in new investors Bunkerhill after finalising a deal. On Tuesday, the club announced through a press conference that the deal with the Gurgaon-based sports management company has been completed.

Previously, there had been a delay with the submitting of the paperwork from the club's end. The deal to bring in Bunkerhill as investors was announced back in October 2020, but there was no progress until earlier this year.

Deepak Singh, one of the Directors of Bunkerhill told Khel Now earlier that, “We had aimed to win the I-League also. But, even after three months of signing the MoU, we have not received the paperwork for the final agreement.”

Interestingly, as announced by Mohammedan SC, the deal that has been struck with Bunkerhill will be for eight years and both parties will have an equal amount of shares.

The Kolkata-based outfit can finally focus on the second phase of the I-League, as they aim to win the title against TRAU FC, Real Kashmir FC, Gokulam Kerala FC, Churchill Brothers and RoundGlass Punjab FC. However, the Black Panthers haven't had the best of seasons so far.

They currently stand sixth in the table, only a few points below the other competitors in phase 2. Moreover, they also parted ways with head coach Jose Hevia. Technical director Shankarlal Chakraborty has taken over at the helm and will be leading them till the end of the campaign.
