Revealed: Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh's favourite football club
The former off-spinner has named an Indian club as his favourite over Manchester United.
Harbhajan Singh may have been in retirement for quite some time, particularly on the international stage, but the Punjab-born cricketer never fails to win over Indian fans. "The Turbanator," as he is widely known, has always been a fan-favourite for his passion, aggression and ofcourse, his bowling.
Ever since his debut, he's had the image of a very patriotic and nationalist. The off-spinner gave his fans one more reason to believe in him after what he said during the coverage of the England Vs Afghanistan match at the ICC Cricket World Cup. The match was played at Old Trafford, also the venue of the much-anticipated India Vs Pakistan clash two days earlier.

Indian cricket srars visit Old Trafford
India stars Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Shankar and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen visiting Manchester United's home stadium post the game and the Premier League giants appreciated the visit by making a post about it on their social media handles.
Singh, while covering the game with Star Sports' Jatin Sapru, was asked which football team he is a fan of. Unlike the others and staying true to his nationalist image, Harbhajan replied that his favourite football team was an Indian club and not one from the well-established Premier League.

Former Indian cricket ace Virender Sehwag visited Old Trafford last week
Harbhajan named Mohun Bagan, the oldest club from Indian football, as his favourite one. He also went on to explain the reason behind his choice. The former Indian international said that the fact that he's an Indian, he likes to talk only about India.
Fan-favourite Bhajji said, “Dekhiye main to Mohun Bagan ka fan hu. Bharat ka rehnewala hu, bharat ki hi baat sunata hu (I am a Mohun Bagan fan. I live in India, so I talk about India).”

The man has also set an example, like many of his colleagues from the cricketing fraternity by supporting Indian football that has always been deprived of the kind of attention that it deserves.
