Odisha FC suffered a 4-0 defeat in aggregate and have been eliminated from the AFC Cup.
Odisha FC played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw against the Central Coast Mariners in the second leg of their AFC Cup 2023-24 inter-zonal semi-finals at the Kalinga Stadium on Thursday, 14 March, 2024. The result means that the Juggernauts have been eliminated from the AFC Cup, with the A-League side moving into the inter-zonal finals.
It was a more competitive match than the one which took place in Sydney a week ago. In this one, the Indian Super League (ISL) side defended much better and also had better possession. The Australian side tried their best to get another compelling win, but were unable to breach the Juggernauts’ backline.\

Amrinder Singh was a standout for the home side, producing a string of impressive saves to keep the opponents at bay. However, despite the sturdy effort, Odisha could not manage to get a shot on target and were rarely able to breach into the Central Coast Mariners penalty area.
For Sergio Lobera’s side, this has been a learning experience and one they’d hope to repeat next year. The Juggernauts will now solely focus on their attempts to clinch the ISL Shield, as they’re involved in a tight title race with Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City.
