How much did FanCode pay for ISL 2025–26 broadcasting rights?

ISL 2025-26 will be exclusively broadcast on FanCode.
The Indian Super League (ISL) is set to enter the 2025–26 season under a new broadcast arrangement, with FanCode stepping in as the league’s official media rights holder.
The deal, struck at a markedly reduced valuation, underlines a broader shift in Indian football’s broadcast market and signals changing priorities around production, distribution, and audience reach as the ISL looks to maintain visibility in a challenging commercial climate.
FanCode package deal

FanCode emerged as the successful bidder for the Indian Super League’s 2025–26 media rights after participating in the AIFF’s tender process, which divided the rights into multiple packages covering broadcast, streaming, and production elements.
The digital sports platform showed intent by applying for more than one package as it looked to strengthen its presence in Indian football broadcasting.
Ultimately, FanCode secured Package B, which includes both linear television and digital streaming rights, with a winning bid of ₹8.62 crore.
The bid comprised ₹10 lakh allocated for linear broadcast rights and ₹8.52 crore for digital streaming. Other broadcasters were also in contention, but FanCode’s offer topped the bids received for the package. While the platform does not operate its own TV channel, the deal allows scope for sublicensing to ensure wider reach.

KPS Studio gets the world-feed production rights
KPS Studios has won the world-feed production rights for the ISL 2025–26 season, securing Package E with the lowest valid bid of ₹5.22 crore. The company will handle all aspects of live match production, from camera operations to creating the broadcast feed and managing technical delivery from the stadiums.
This feed will then be shared with the league’s broadcast and streaming partners, ensuring fans get consistent, high-quality coverage across all platforms throughout the season. AIFF will need to pay ₹5.22 crore to KPS Studio for the production of the matches.
Now, the ISL net revenue will be ₹3.4 crore for the 2025-26 season.
Other bidders and disqualifications

Two Circles was disqualified for failing to submit the mandatory ₹5 lakh EMD and for not fully meeting the tender requirements, while Monarch, in partnership with PR Solution, could not progress to Stage 2 due to not meeting the net-worth criteria outlined in the RFP.
Among the bids that were considered, ABP Network offered ₹6.89 crore for Packages D and E, and JioStar quoted ₹5 crore for Package D, which covered digital rights only.
Sportzworkz placed a bid of ₹9.5 crore for Package E but ultimately lost out to KPS Studios, whose lower quote of ₹5.22 crore secured the world-feed production rights for the season.
