I-League 2024-25 Live Update: Follow Real Kashmir FC vs Churchill Brothers SC Live Updates

The last gameweek of the I-league has been nothing short of exciting as it’s a gameweek of unpredictability and great intensity. Instead of just one or two teams fighting for the top spot, this season has seen a remarkable four different contenders emerge as contenders for winning the championship.
Gokulam Kerala FC vs Dempo SC
I-League title contenders Gokulam Kerala FC will be playing possibly their biggest game of the season against Dempo SC on Sunday. The game set to be played at the EMS Stadium is of prime importance for the club as a win could potentially see them clinch the title, depending on other results.
The Stakes
Gokulam Kerala FC
The Malabarians have been on fire towards the end of the season, winning four of their last five league games. While they faced relatively weaker opposition in those games, Gokulam are picking up steam at the best possible time.
A win for Renjith TA’s men is essential if they are to stand any chance of lifting the league title. However, a loss for Gokulam would virtually end their title bid and will narrow down the battle to the result of the game between Churchill Brothers SC and Real Kashmir FC.
Dempo SC
The Goan club have had a tough campaign since their promotion to the I-League from I-League 2 last season. The club has lost nine out of a possible 21 games this season, and have failed to keep a clean sheet since the early February game against Inter Kashi.
Dempo will be looking to salvage some pride from a perilous season and a win over Gokulam will be the perfect end to a challenging game. A loss, however, could see the club finish ninth in the league standings.
Predicted Lineups
Gokulam Kerala FC (4-4-2)
Rakshit Dagar (GK); Nidhin Krishna, Athul Unnikrishnan, Mashoor Shereef, Laishram Johnson Singh; VP Suhair, K Abhijith, Sergio Llamas, Ignacio Abeledo; Martin Cháves, Thabiso Brown
Dempo SC (4-4-2)
Sangramjit Roy Chowdhury (GK); Pruthvesh Pednekar, Mohamed Ali, Shaher Shaheen, Saiesh Bagkar; Kapil Hoble, Didier Brossou, Ariston Costa, Seigoumang Doungel; Marcus Joseph, Lukman Abegunrin
Inter Kashi FC vs Rajasthan United FC
Inter Kashi will take on Rajasthan FC in their final match of I-league 2024-25. The last gameweek of the I-league has been nothing short of exciting as it’s a gameweek of unpredictability and great intensity. Instead of just one or two teams fighting for the top spot, this season has seen a remarkable four different contenders emerge as contenders for winning the championship.
This close competition has made every match important, and now, as the league heads into its final day of the games, the question of who will lift the trophy is still completely undecided.
The Stakes
Inter Kashi
Inter Kashi’s path to the I-League title is a complex one, heavily dependent on factors outside their direct control. Firstly, they need Real Kashmir to secure a positive result against Churchill Brothers, ideally a win or a draw for Kashmir, but the outcome shouldn’t negatively impact Kashi’s own standing. Secondly, they will have to hope that in the match between Gokulam Kerala and Dempo SC, Dempo should take points off Gokulam, and score three points.
However, perhaps the most significant element determining Kashi’s fate is the pending decision from the AIFF Appeal Committee regarding an alleged ineligible player. Therefore, Inter Kashi’s title aspirations depend on a combination of favourable results in other matches and a positive outcome in their ongoing appeal with the AIFF.
Rajasthan United FC
Rajasthan United FC had a better football season this year than last year. Inter Kashi haven’t been able to win against Rajasthan United this season. Earlier in the season, when the two teams played at Rajasthan’s home stadium, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Inter Kashi scored first, but a late goal from Rajasthan’s Martand Raina tied the game, cancelling out the goal from Kashi’s Bidyashagar Singh.
Now, as they play again, a win for Rajasthan United FC could move them up to fourth place in the league standings. If Rajasthan United manages to win by scoring three or more goals, they could even jump ahead of Real Kashmir FC and take the third spot, but that would also depend on how other teams perform in their matches.
Predicted line-ups
Inter Kashi
Arindam Bhattacharja (GK), David Humanes, Narayan Das, Sarthak Goloui, Sumeet Passi,Bijoy VB, Joni Kauko, Nikola Stojanovic,Prashanth Karuthadathkuni, Mario Barco Vilar,Edmund Lalrindika
Rajasthan United FC
James Kithan (GK) , Wayne Vaz, Martand Rana, Abhash Thapa, Ronaldo Johnson, Alain Oyarzun, William Nehisial, Bektira Amangeldiev, Noaba Meitei, Maicol Cabrera, Seimunmang Manchong
Real Kashmir FC vs Churchill Brothers SC
The I-League 2024-25 title race takes center stage on April 6th as Real Kashmir FC hosts Churchill Brothers SC at the TRC Turf Ground on Sunday. With the championship within reach for both sides, the outcome of this match, combined with other results, could determine who will be crowned the new I-League champion.
The Stakes
Real Kashmir FC
Real Kashmir FC, currently occupying third place in the I-League standings with 36 points, still hold a faint hope of clinching the title. However, after being held to a 1-1 draw by Dempo SC, Ishfaq Ahmed’s side are reliant on results from other games.
In order to win the title, they need Gokulam Kerala to lose their match against Dempo SC. Secondly, and most importantly, Real Kashmir FC must secure a victory over Churchill Brothers SC on Sunday by a margin of three goals or more to claim the top spot based on their head-to-head record.
Churchill Brothers SC
Churchill Brothers travel to face Real Kashmir FC on Sunday as the favourite side, with the I-League title within reach. Despite a recent 2-2 draw against Inter Kashi that prevented them from potentially clinching the championship early, Dimitris Dimitriou’s squad remains at the top of the pile with 39 points.
A single point in their next outing would be enough for the Red Machine to secure the title. A draw in this fixture guarantees them the title, Even a defeat by a two-goal margin or less could see them lift the trophy, if Dempo SC scores at least a point against Gokulam Kerala.

Real Kashmir FC
