I-League 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after Rajasthan United FC vs Gokulam Kerala FC

Gokulam Kerala FC retakes the fourth spot in the I-League standings after victory against Rajasthan United FC.
The match week 18 of the I-League is turned out to be full of goals with teams displaying attacking performances in games played until Sunday. Thursday’s match week began with Inter Kashi registering an impressive 3-2 win over Namdhari FC on Thursday.
Goals from Nikola Stojanovic, Sumeet Passi and Edmund Lalrindika were enough to guide Kashi past Namdhari. While Namdhari dominated the early proceedings with greater possession and shots, Inter Kashi grew into the game, with all the five goals coming in the second half of the game.
Friday’s game between Churchill Brothers and Shillong Lajong followed the same script, however with an early goal for the visitors. The home side were shell-shocked after Shillong were awarded an early penalty, however Churchill Brothers made a miraculous escape winning the game 6-1.
Saturday’s fixture list began with Delhi FC welcoming Sreenidi Deccan at home. A solitary goal from David Castañeda Munoz was enough for Sreenidi Deccan to see off the home side. The highlight from the weekend saw Dempo SC welcome SC Bengaluru at the Fatorda Stadium. A game which saw tons of goals, saw the home side walk out 8-1 winners. A hattrick from Marcus Joseph and goals from Cristian Roa, Seigoumang Doungel, Juan Mera, Lukman Adefemi and Kapil Hoble scripted a famous victory.

Sunday’s action kicked off with Real Kashmir FC welcoming Aizawl FC to the TRC Polo Synthetic Turf Ground. The home side walked out comfortable winners by a score line of 2-1 courtesy of goals from El Hadji Abdou Karim Samb and Paulo Cézar. The final game of the evening saw Rajasthan United FC welcome Gokulam Kerala FC at the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur.
A game between two sides which had huge ramifications especially for the top-half of the league standings, it’s safe to say that the game delivered. The first goal of the game was scored by Thabiso Brown just before half-time as Gokulam Kerala FC went into the dressing room with a notable advantage.
The game further got sweeter for Gokulam Kerala FC fans when Athul Unnikrishnan got the visitors the all-important second goal in the 57th minute. However, the death knell for the home side came in the 80th minute when Brown made it 3-0 to the visitors and sealed a clinical performance from Gokulam Kerala on the night.

I-League points table after Rajasthan United FC vs Gokulam Kerala FC
The updated I-League points table shows that some clubs have moved up and down following recent results. Churchill Brothers SC has overtaken Inter Kashi as the new league leaders after their win over Shillong Lajong FC. Kashi has fallen down to the second spot and has recorded 34 points after 18 games, level on points with the leaders, however possessing an inferior goal difference.
The top two clubs are followed by Real Kashmir FC in third, who have 32 points after 18 games and are trailed closely by Gokulam Kerala FC in the fourth spot, with only four point separating the two sides. Shillong Lajong FC fall down to the fifth spot after their loss against Churchill Brothers with 26 points in 18 games.
Namdhari FC sit in the sixth spot after recording 26 points in 18 games. After their win over Delhi FC this week, Sreenidi Deccan climb up to the seventh spot with 25 points. While Rajasthan United FC drop down to the eighth spot in the standings after last week’s loss to Namdhari FC with 24 points in 18 games.
Dempo SC remain in the ninth spot with 22 points after this week’s massive 8-1 victory over SC Bengaluru. Despite losing this week, SC Bengaluru remains in the 10th spot with 17 points in 18 games. Aizawl FC sit in 11th trailing them by one point with 16 points in 18 games. Delhi FC, who complete the standings in the 12th spot with 13 points in 18 games.
