[Watch] Igor Stimac delivers special message to Indian team ahead of Sunil Chhetri's final game against Kuwait

Sunil Chhetri recently announced his international retirement
Igor Stimac, the coach of the Indian football team, delivered a special message to all players during the training session ahead of World Cup qualifiers.
Sunil Chhetri announced that he will be hanging his boots from the international circuit after more than 150 appearances for the nation. The Indian football team captain has scored 94 goals at the international level and is the third-highest active goal-scorer in international football.
The 39-year-old footballing icon announced that he will play his last game against Kuwait on 6th June. India are set to play their last set of qualifiers against Kuwait and Qatar.
Following Chhetri’s statement, the Indian coach addressed his team during training and said,
“Having now this situation with our dear captain Sunil and announcing his retirement. That’s another thing, which should motivate each one of us, all of us here. Because we have a great chance to say thanks to him for everything he has done for Indian football. For the behaviour which was instrumental, commitment which was present there every day, and everything he has done with his goals and leadership to bring many of you into victories and great success. So, let’s do everything to make this 6th of June memorable.”
The players will aim to give a special farewell to probably the most successful player in Indian football history. Chhetri will also aim for a win in his final game for the men in blue.
