Indian football fans took to social media to express their disapproval of the Blue Tigers’ lackluster performance.

The Intercontinental Cup game between India and Mauritius played at the GMC Balayogi Stadium in Telangana, finished in a goalless draw, causing fans and experts to voice their disappointment on social media.

Even though India had the benefit of playing at home and received strong support from the crowd, they couldn’t take advantage of the chances they had, resulting in a disappointing beginning for the Indian team under their new coach, Manolo Márquez.

India’s missed chances lead to frustration

Fans took to social media to express their frustration as India couldn’t utilize their home-field advantage at the GMC Balayogi Stadium. Despite the enthusiastic cheering from the audience, the Indian squad had trouble finding the back of the net. Many noted that while India did have periods of dominance in the game, their inability to finish off moves decisively was very noticeable.
