ISL 2025-26: FanCode releases season pass ahead Indian Super League

Fancode steps into ISL coverage with budget-friendly season access.
The Indian football fans will be able to follow the upcoming ISL 2025–26 season at a reduced cost, with the league’s season pass on FanCode priced at ₹299. In addition to this full-season package, the fans will also have the option to purchase a single-match pass priced at ₹9, offering a flexible and low-cost access to individual fixtures.
During the previous seasons, the Indian Super League matches were telecasted on JioHotstar, while FanCode mostly focused on broadcasting AFC competitions and Indian national team fixtures. The latest development represents a notable shift in digital coverage, with FanCode now offering a full-season pass for India’s top division of football.
As the ISL prepares for another competitive campaign featuring both established clubs and the new clubs the reduced pricing could play a role in expanding the league’s reach, particularly among younger audiences and fans outside traditional footballing centres.
Beyond digital streaming, discussions around the league’s broader broadcast footprint are still ongoing. According to the update, talks regarding international broadcast rights as well as the appointment of a satellite television partner in India are currently underway. These negotiations could further expand the ISL’s reach across global and domestic markets once finalised.
FanCode is also expected to play a central role in enhancing accessibility through language diversity. The platform will produce regional-language commentary in-house and has expressed openness to regional television channels acquiring broadcast rights. This approach could help the league connect more effectively with fans in traditional footballing regions, where language-specific coverage remains a key driver of viewership.
Most Importantly, any additional revenue generated through regional or satellite broadcast arrangements is expected to be channelled back into the league. Such a model could provide financial support to clubs and help strengthen the ISL’s long-term commercial sustainability at a time when Indian football continues to seek stable growth.
The announcement provides early clarity on digital access for the upcoming season, while negotiations related to television and international broadcast rights remain ongoing. Additional details regarding the league’s wider distribution are expected to be finalised closer to the start of the 2025–26 campaign.
