MDSs all-Indian squad is ready for the new ISL season
Mohammedan SC will be hoping for a new dawn as they head into the 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL), aiming to redeem themselves after a forgettable previous campaign. The Black Panthers will be playing with an all-Indian players squad for the upcoming campaign, which means many fans will be intrigued to see how such a team can sustain themselves among the giants of the ISL.
The Black Panthers will be kicking off their campaign against Jamshedpur FC on 15 February 2026 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur. Interestingly, it appears that the JRD Tata Sports Complex will also be the designated home ground for the Black Panthers in the upcoming campaign – a change from the Kishore Bharati Krinangan, which was their designated home stadium for the 2024-25 campaign.
Mohammedan will be facing off against giants FC Goa in their second match on 20 February, before playing their first mini-Kolkata derby of the 2025-26 campaign against Mohun Bagan on 28 February. The Black Panthers will also be meeting East Bengal on 21 March in their second mini-Kolkata derby of the campaign, with both fixtures scheduled to take place in Jamshedpur.
The Black Panthers will also be facing off against the newly-promoted Inter Kashi on 12 April, in what should be a fascinating battle between the two recently promoted teams in the ISL. The final game that is scheduled will be against NorthEast United at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.
