Punjab FC register a commanding 2-0 victory over Bengaluru FC

Jamshedpur FC continued their magical run and secured their third win on the bounce by defeating East Bengal in Kolkata. The Red and Golds started off brilliantly and had a few chances in the opening half but failed to convert all of those.

Edmund Lalrindika broke the deadlock in the 40th minute before Stephen Eze brought the game back on level terms. Rei Tachikawa came off the bench and scored the winning goal within four minutes and stunned East Bengal.

The second game witnessed Punjab FC’s surprise win over Bengaluru FC away from home. The Shers breached Bengaluru’s fortress and secured their first three points of the season. Effiong Nsungusi scored the opening goal by putting the ball into the top right corner and gave the visitors an early lead.

Nsungusi doubled Punjab’s lead with a screamer from outside the box and sealed the deal for his side.

Jamshedpur FC have jumped to the first position on the table following tonight’s win and now have nine points. FC Goa have dropped down to second with seven points. East Bengal have further dropped down to the third spot.

Mohun Bagan SG and Mumbai City FC remained at the fourth and fifth spot with six points each. Bengaluru FC have been stuck to the sixth spot with four points.

Punjab FC have been promoted to the seventh position with three points while Inter Kashi dropped down to the eighth spot with one point. Odisha FC take the ninth position and NorthEast United have come down to tenth with one point.

Chennaiyin FC and the Kerala Blasters take the 11th and 12th positions respectively while Mohammedan Sporting are ranked 13th on the standings.

Sporting Club Delhi continue to sit at the bottom place on the table.

  • Effiong Nsungusi (Punjab FC) – 2 goals

Players with the most assists after matchday 11 of ISL 2025-26:

  • Anirudh Thapa (Mohun Bagan SG) – 2 assists
  • Bipin Singh (East Bengal) – 1 assist
  • Tomba Singh (Inter Kashi) – 1 assist
  • Nikhil Poojary (Bengaluru FC) – 1 assist
  • Pronay Halder (Jamshedpur FC) – 1 assist
