ISL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals and most assists after FC Goa vs Odisha FC

FC Goa powered past Odisha FC at home

Matchweek 8 of ISL began with an emphatic statement in Guwahati as SC Delhi handed NorthEast United FC a humbling 3-0 defeat at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on Friday, April 10, 2026. After a closely contested first half, the visitors took complete control after the break with a clinical display in the final third.

Joseph Sunny emerged as the star of the evening, delivering a decisive brace that dismantled the Highlanders and ensured SC Delhi secured their second consecutive victory of the Indian Super League 2025-26 campaign.

The result sees Delhi climb to eighth place in the standings with eight points, while NorthEast United FC slipped to tenth with six points after another disappointing outing in front of their home supporters.

The second fixture of the matchweek saw FC Goa return to winning ways with an impressive 3-1 victory over Odisha FC at the PJN Stadium. Much like the earlier encounter, the game came alive in the second half as the Gaurs stepped up the intensity and quality in attack.

Goals from Dejan Dražić, Pol Moreno and Brison Fernandes sealed all three points for the hosts, while Odisha FC could only manage a late consolation through Suhair VP.

The win provided much-needed relief for FC Goa after a run of draws and a defeat, lifting them to fifth in the table with 13 points.

In contrast, Odisha FC continued to struggle and dropped to 12th place with just five points from their opening matches.
