ISL 2026-27: Confirmed transfers so far

Mohun Bagan Super Giant have been the dominant side in the transfer market.
The summer transfer window for the 2026-27 season is currently underway, with Indian Super League (ISL) clubs busy exploring the opportunities to strengthen their squad.
The forthcoming season is set to kick off on July 17 with the Durand Cup, while the ISL will commence from September 1, according to AIFF’s tentative calendar.
From defending ISL champions East Bengal FC to Mohun Bagan Super Giant and others, all the teams have been proactive in the transfer market as they gear up for the 2026-27 campaign.
However, the Mariners have taken the market by storm with statement signings within the first phase of the window. A few ISL clubs have already completed a couple of signings, but the rest of the ISL clubs are still in the process, with negotiations and transfer talks taking place.
With that said, let’s take a look at the top five confirmed transfers so far in this window.
Miguel Figueira (EBFC to MBSG)

Arguably, Miguel Figueira’s move to Mohun Bagan Super Giant is the most talked-about transfer in the summer window.
The ISL 2025-26 Golden Ball winner switched his camp in a blockbuster move as he bade farewell to the Red and Gold Brigade to join the Mariners.
One of the main architects behind East Bengal FC’s ISL triumph and the most influential player in the league last year, Miguel Figueira’s signing is not just another deal; it’s a statement and the first major step to achieving goals in the upcoming campaign.
The Brazilian will add creativity and flair and will provide an edge to the Mohun Bagan Super Giant’s midfield, given his adroit dribbling skills and exceptional playmaking abilities.
Dejan Drazic (FCG to MBSG)

Yet another smart move by the Mohun Bagan Super Giant management. The former FC Goa player signed a two-year contract with the Kolkata giants for a whopping ₹2.85 crore-per-season deal.
Drazic’s experience of playing in Europe and his versatility on the pitch will add a different dynamic to the Mariners’ squad. The Serbian winger can seamlessly operate from multiple positions in the forward line, altering his flanks with his teammates.
Drazic recorded 15 goal contributions in 22 games across competitions in FC Goa colours in the 2025-26 season. His skills, unpredictability, and precise finishing in the final third will surely enhance the Mariners’ performance in the opponent’s third.

Samir Zeljkovic (PFC to MBSG)

Mohun Bagan Super Giant have missed a player with a profile like Samir Zeljkovic’s in recent years. Since Joni Kauko’s departure at the end of the 2023-24 season, the Mariners have experienced the shortcomings of not having a foreign central defensive midfielder who can not only shield the defence line but also anchor the midfield and initiate attacks from the heart of the pitch.
Samir Zeljkovic has played a big role in Punjab FC’s success in the ISL 2025-26 season.
Zeljkovic’s and Ramirez’s partnership has been one of the most successful midfield duos in the league with their ball rotation, progressive carries, and sheer dominance.
Zeljkovic’s ability to play as a centre-back will make him a crucial player for the Kolkata giants in the coming season.
Boris Singh (FCG to EBFC)

Boris Singh becomes the first confirmed domestic incoming player for the defending champions. East Bengal FC have roped in the FC Goa full-back on a multi-year deal to bolster their defence line.
The Manipur-born footballer has commendably adapted to the right-back role, a tactical shift from his natural position. Boris’ fast pace, quick overlapping runs, and intelligent trackbacks will undoubtedly solidify the Red and Gold Brigade’s defensive stature in the upcoming season in the absence of Mohammed Rakip, who has been sidelined due to a long-term injury.
Pramveer Singh (PFC to NEUFC)

Young defender Pramveer Singh has recently committed his future to NorthEast United FC for the next ISL season, following his contract with Punjab FC coming to an end. The Highlanders pulled off one of the smartest signings in this window, as they acquired the services of the youngster for the coming three years.
NorthEast United FC are well-known for investing in emerging talents. With Pramveer at the heart of the defence line, the centre-back offers energy, awareness, smart tackling, and a long-term solution for the club.
What were Miguel’s stats in the 2025-26 season?
Miguel scored two goals and recorded six assists in the 2025-26 season.
Why did Mohun Bagan Super Giant sign Dejan Drazic?
The Mariners signed Dejan Drazic to add creativity, versatility, and experience to their attack. The Serbian winger can play across multiple attacking positions and contributed 15 goals and assists in 22 matches during the 2025-26 season.
Who signed Pramveer?
NorthEast United FC have signed former Punjab FC defender ahead of the new season.
