Mohun Bagan will miss their top striker from the ISL season in this ultimate clash.
India’s top-flight football competition, the Indian Super League (ISL) is just one sleep away from wrapping up its iconic 10th edition. It has been a season full of surprises, magical moments and so much more, but now it all comes down to the ultimate game with just two teams competing to get over the finish line.
League Shield winners Mohun Bagan will host their western rivals Mumbai City FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata to script a picture perfect end to the 10th edition of the ISL. The Mariners come into this game as favourites, thanks to their home advantage and better head-to-head record against the Islanders this season across all competitions.
Bagan will face the unavailability of their Albanian target-man Armando Sadiku, who is serving a suspension for breaching the All India Football Federation (AIFF) code of conduct during the semi-final against Odisha FC last month.
However, the Mariners still have a big pool of players available for selection. Let us take a look at how they could line up for the grand finale.
Starting XI (3-1-4-2)

Reinforcements from the bench
Antonio Habas might make a few forced changes in his winning combination that worked for him in the semi-final. However, as and when required, he can put in Sahal Abdul Samad and Kiyan Nassiri to add more firepower to the attack.
And if Mohun Bagan achieve a comfortable lead, he can bring on Brendan Hamil, Deepak Tangri and Dippendu Biswas to solidify the backline and midfield to see out the remainder of the game.
