ISL 2024-25: Full updated squad of Hyderabad FC

The Nawabs are fielding a young squad this season.
In the 2024-25 season of the Indian Super League (ISL), Hyderabad FC are looking to restore its glory once again. The champions of the 2021 season had plummeted to the bottom of the table last season with just one win.
The 2023-24 season’s turmoil had begun with the departure of head coach Manolo Marquez, and handing over the reins to Thangboi Singto. Singto made a few new signings and revamped the coaching staff but it was of no avail. The team faced additional setbacks with most of the senior players leaving due to financial constraints. This caused the gaffer to rely on the young players who showed promising performances but couldn’t convert the chances into desirable results.
Players like Mohammad Yasir, Sahil Tavora, Laxmikant Kattimani have reunited with former coach Manolo Marquez at FC Goa while Sajad Hussain Parray and Makan Chothe have moved to newly promoted side Mohammedan SC. Defender Vignesh Dakshinamurthy has signed for Chennaiyin FC while Jeremy Zohminghlua has moved to Odisha FC. Joseph Sailo on the other hand has signed for Kerala United.
However, the Yellow and Black managed to retain a core group of Indian players for the ISL 2024-25 season. This continuity could be instrumental in the team’s success as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing previous campaign. Under the leadership of Thangboi Singto, the core group of Hyderabad FC will be able to foster a sense of unity in the team. This cohesion on and off the field will be crucial in helping Hyderabad FC overcome challenges and achieve its goals.
The arrival of the BC Jindal Group as the new owners of Hyderabad FC has marked a new era for the club. The new ownership adopted a strategic approach to rebuilding the team, focusing on signing young, underrated, and players who are free agents.
On transfer deadline day, the Nawabs secured the signatures of Sourav K, Isaac Vanmalsawma, Ayush Adhikari, Devendra Murgaonkar, Parag Shrivas, and Leander D’Cunha. They also managed to sign Cy Goddard, who was the first foreign signing of Hyderabad FC.
Hyderabad FC are eager to make a strong impact and reclaim its position as a competitive force in the Indian Super League.
