The Blues look for a win after a three-match drought

Jamshedpur FC is set to lock horns against Bengaluru FC at home in an exciting clash in the Indian Super League 2025-26 season. The match is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 19:30 IST at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur. The Red Miners look to secure another win at home, and Bengaluru FC aims to bounce back after their three-match drought, as they have drawn their past three games.

An interesting stat rises before the games kick off as Jamshedpur FC have not lost a single game this season at home, which indicates the support they have got from the crowd. On the other hand, Bengaluru FC is more successful this season in their away fixtures. Bengaluru FC have not lost a single game away from home this season. Both sides have their own manifesto this season so far, as things stand, one of the stats from this season will be broken after the game.

What to expect from the clash?

The stat is here that Jamshedpur FC haven’t lost a single home game this season and as the stat stands, they also need to stand strong against Bengaluru FC. The Red Miners will host the Blues at home, looking to secure the valuable three points after they successfully secured two wins. As we all know, from the past five games, the form of Jamshedpur has been really disoriented, as whenever they played a good brand of football and on the other time they played the ball without rhythm. But the past two wins will motivate Jamshedpur to take their hands free against Bengaluru FC. A win over the visitors will put them top of the table, irrespective of what the FC Goa and Mohun Bagan SG tie goes on earlier in this game. They find themselves second on the table with 22 points, but they have played 11 games so far. Jamshedpur FC might miss Stephen Eze from this tie, but will look to accelerate with other squad players and look to secure three points.

On the other hand, Bengaluru FC, the visitors at Jamshedpur FC’s fortress, are not in their mood currently. They have drawn three games under new coach Pep Munoz. They showed intent, but it didn’t pay off. Against Jamshedpur FC at home, it will be a tricky tie to deal with, but a win is much needed to survive the ISL title chase. They are currently placed seventh on the table with 17 points. A win will put them fourth or fifth on the table
