Several players performed well in an exciting contest.

Odisha FC played out an entertaining 1-1 draw against Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Kalinga Stadium on Sunday (10 November). The Juggernauts took an early lead through Hugo Boumous’ in-direct free-kick goal in the 4th minute, but Manvir Singh equalized for his side in the 36th minute.

Both teams worked hard for a winner after that but failed to get anything and had to settle for a point each. Here are the Player Ratings.

Odisha FC (By Gourav Samal)

Amrinder Singh – 7

Other than the goal, Amrinder looked quite composed throughout the match and made some important saves in the match.

Amey Ranawade – 7.5

With his task of controlling the backline, Ranawade made some desperate attempts at the front end. He even had a shot on target in the 73rd minute of play which was saved by Vishal Kaith.

Saviour Gama – 6.5

Gama had a low first half but he pulled up his game in the second half of play and also made a critical tackle inside the box.

Thoiba Singh – 7

Thoiba made some crucial tackles in the match, mostly towards the end of the match. He made a brilliant sliding tackle in the 82nd minute of play which could have proved costly for his team.

Puitea – 7

Puitea made himself active throughout the match and also made some attempts to score a goal but none of them were converted.

Rahim Ali – 6.5

Rahim made some clinical moves at times but couldn’t fetch any threat for the opponent. Even he lost control of the ball a few times during the first half of play.

Isak Vanlalyuatfela – 6.5

Isak toiled hard during his stay on the pitch. He took a shot at the target in the 54th minute of play which was saved by the opponent.

Vishal Kaith – 5.5

Kaith made a horrible error holding onto Rai’s backpass, allowing the indirect freekick for Boumous to score. Made up for the mistake with a couple of sharp saves.

Asish Rai – 5.5

The right-back made an amateurish mistake in backpassing from inside his box. Not exactly the sharpest defensively, but made eight possession recoveries. Booked late on.

Subhasish Bose – 7.5

The Mohun Bagan skipper continues his impressive form with another proactive performance. Neutralized Odisha’s threat down his side, making two tackles, three interceptions and winning seven duels.

Anirudh Thapa – 6.5

Partnered Apuia diligently in midfield by being an active, vigilant figure. He made four possession recoveries and covered 5.84 km before getting injured.

Lalengmawia Ralte – 8.0

Apuia was really efficient and impactful in midfield, not allowing the hosts to dominate the battle or trouble through central areas. His passing was crisp and the 24-year-old made five interceptions, five tackles as well as eight possession recoveries.

Manvir Singh – 8.0

Manvir worked his socks off on the right and was very efficient against Odisha. He produced a great header for the equalizer and tormented Odisha defenders with his clever movement in their half.
