ISL 2023-24: When will the playoffs take place?

The Indian Super League (ISL) has announced the dates of the 2023-24 season final and the playoffs scheduled to start this month. The final match of the season is scheduled for May 4th, with the champions being crowned after a series of exciting playoffs matches. The fight for a place in the final starts on April 19 with the knockout matches followed by the semi-finals in a home and away format.
The announcement comes after a tightly contested regular season that has now seen all six teams confirm their playoffs berths.
This year’s ISL promises an intense battle for the trophy, with several strong contenders vying for the top spot.
Format
The top two teams at the end of the league phase will qualify directly for the semi-finals, whereas the sides finishing third to sixth will play a single-leg playoff in a knockout format to determine the other two semi-finalists.

The 2023-24 season of the Indian Super League has been one of the most exciting and competitive seasons, with Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan in the fray to win the League Winners’ Shield. In addition to Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan; Odisha FC, FC Goa and Kerala Blasters had already qualified for the playoffs.
