ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 54, Mohammedan SC vs Bengaluru FC
The latter needed to come back from behind to put three more points on the table.
Bengaluru FC returned to winning ways in ISL with a historic comeback win over Mohammedan Sporting in the City of Joy. The Blues put together a memorable performance to add three more points to their tally. The home side broke the deadlock early in the game when Cesar Lobi Manzoki found the back of the net in the 8th minute.
The Blues continued to pile up the pressure after conceding but failed to find the back of the net. The Black Panthers held on to their lead for the majority of the game, but all their plans went out of the window when Sunil Chhetri took matters into his own hands. Chhetri found the back of the net twice in quick succession to win it from behind for the Blues (the second was however determined as an own-goal).
