Mumbai City FC sit at the fifth spot in the ISL table.

Mumbai City FC returned to winning ways in the final match of ISL gameweek 18. The Islanders ran riot against Mohammedan SC and pulled off an emphatic 3-0 win in front of their home fans.  They started strong from the get go and Bipin Singh came very close to scoring the opening goal with just a few minutes on the clock, but hit his shot over the bar before hitting the woodwork a couple of minutes later.

The away side responded with a shot on target and brought Phurba Lachenpa into action. The first half was a tale of missed and unconverted chances as both teams went into half-time with a scoreline of 0-0. Gaurav Bora miscued his back pass and hit the ball into his own net to open the scoring for the Islanders. Lallianzuala Chhangte doubled the lead for his side before Thaer Krouma made it 3-0 and wrapped up an important win.
