ISL 2023-24: Points Table, Most Goals, and Most Assists after Match 116, Hyderabad FC vs Mumbai City FC
Mumbai City FC have edged one step closer to the ISL Shield.
Mumbai City FC defeated Hyderabad FC by a 3-0 margin in the recently concluded Indian Super League (ISL 2023-24) fixture at the Gachibowli Stadium on Monday.
Lallianzuala Chhangte scored the first goal for Mumbai in the 18th minute to give them an early lead in the match, while Mehtab Singh scored the second in 31st minute. In the dying moments of the game, Jorge Pereyra Diaz netted the third for his side from the spot to salvage a dominating win away from home.
A brief look at the points table
Mumbai City FC remain at the top with 44 points from 20 matches, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant remain at the second place with 39 points from 19 matches. They are followed by Odisha FC, who are placed third with 36 points from 19 matches.
FC Goa have lost a spot and are now in fourth place with 36 points from 19 matches. Kerala Blasters FC remain at fifth position with 30 points from 19 matches, followed by Bengaluru FC at sixth with 22 points from 20 matches.
Jamshedpur FC find themselves placed seventh with 21 points from 20 matches, while Punjab FC hold the eighth place with 21 points from 19 matches.
Chennaiyin FC have moved to the ninth spot after their win over Mohun Bagan Super Giant. They have accumulated 21 points from 19 matches.
NorthEast United FC are now at 10th with 20 points from 19 matches, followed by East Bengal at eleventh. Hyderabad FC are the bottom-placed side with just eight points from 20 matches.
