ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 138, Bengaluru FC vs Chennaiyin FC

Bengaluru FC sit at the third spot in the ISL table.
Bengaluru FC took a crucial step forward and move to the ISL 2024-25 playoffs with a third consecutive win in the Indian Super League (ISL). The Blues got the better of Chennaiyin FC with a 1-0 win at the Kanteerava Stadium and moved up to the third spot on the standings. The away side created the first chance of the game, but just couldn’t keep their attempt on target and the ball went wide.
Alberto Noguera set up Rahul Bheke for a beautiful opening goal for the Blues in the 37th minute. Noguera’s delivery surpassed everyone and found Bheke who made no mistake in putting it past the keeper with a first-time shot.
Wilmar Jordan brought Gurpreet Singh Sandhu into action a few second later and the Indian International made a comfortable save. Daniel Chima Chukwu had a golden chance to bring his side back into the game, but he miscued his shot.
A brief look at the points table
Mohun Bagan are guaranteed a first place finish with 52 points in 22 games. FC Goa remained at the second spot with 42 points from 21 games. Bengaluru FC have jumped up to the third spot with 31 points following tonight’s win while Jamshedpur FC have dropped down to fourth with 37 points from 21 games. NorthEast United FC and Mumbai City FC are placed fifth and sixth with 31 and 32 points respectively.
Odisha FC are still positioned seventh with 29 points in 21 games. East Bengal remained at the eighth position with 24 points while Kerala Blasters held to the ninth spot with 24 points in 21 outings. Punjab FC have not moved into tenth place with 24 points in 20 games.
Chennaiyin FC stuck to the eleventh position with 24 points in 22 matches. Hyderabad FC retained the twelfth spot with 17 points from 21 games. Mohammedan SC are still sitting at the bottom of the table with eleven points in 21 matches.
