ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 91, Chennaiyin FC vs Odisha FC
Odisha FC fought till the end of the contest.
What a game of football we have witnessed in the 91st game of the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL). Chennaiyin FC will feel unlucky because they almost had it before Odisha FC pulled off the unthinkable.
The hosts came into this game with a clear intention of winning the game after a series of bad results and looked strong from the get-go. Jordan Wilmar Gil created a lot of problems for the Juggernauts in the first half, but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Jordan and Connor Shields combined well to score two quick goals for the home side. It seemed as if the hosts were taking away all three points until Odisha FC turned up the ante. Dorielton scored his debut ISL goal in the 80th minute and pulled a goal back for his side.
Mohammed Nawaz will consider himself very unlucky as the ball went into his net following a deflection in the final minute of the game and the scoreline read 2-2 at the end of the game.
