Jamshedpur FC got the better of Mumbai City FC
The final game of ISL game week 16 witnessed Jamshedpur FC become the latest side to come away with all three points in an away game against the defending champions Mumbai City FC.
The Red Miners have also completed their first-ever league double over the Islanders since the 2018-19 season in the process and have boosted their playoff credentials as well. With this, Mumbai City FC have now lost their consecutive home game with a scoreline of 0-3.
Both teams went into half-time with a scoreline of 0-0 despite having a few fair chances here and there. Imran Khan set up Mohammed Sanan for the opening goal with a pinpoint cross from the right flank and Sanan was at the right place to put it past the keeper.
Jordan Murray made 0-2 with a wonder goal from outside the box before Javo Hernandez wrapped up a sweet 0-3 victory with an unstoppable strike in the dying minutes of injury time.

Mohun Bagan are chilling at the top of the Indian Super League (ISL) table with 35 points in 15 games. Bengaluru FC sit in the second position with 27 points. Jamshedpur FC have been promoted to the third spot with 27 points while FC Goa have dropped down to fourth with 26 points. NorthEast United FC remain intact at the fifth spot with 23 points in 15 games. Mumbai City FC continue to hold the sixth position with 23 points in 15 games.
Odisha FC hold on to the seventh spot with 21 points. Punjab FC are still placed eighth with 18 points in 14 games. Kerala Blasters have not moved from the ninth position with 17 points.
Chennaiyin FC are still positioned tenth with 16 points. East Bengal have retained the eleventh spot with 13 points to their name. Mohammedan SC are placed twelfth while Hyderabad FC remain at the bottom of the table.
