Delhi will be waiting a little longer to catch a glimpse of the Argentine wizard.

An unexpected minor snag has hit the GOAT India Tour 2025, as Lionel Messi and his entourage are expected to arrive a little later at the Arun Jaitley Stadium as advertised. The Inter Miami duo of Messi and Luis Suarez, along with Rodrigo De Paul are now expected to arrive at the stadium at 4:00 PM IST on Monday.

The Delhi leg of the tour is the final day of the former FC Barcelona star’s three-day tour of the Indian subcontinent, which has covered football crazy cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai in the first two days.

As the limelight shifts to Delhi, Messi, alongside Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, will be taking part in an exhibition game with Virat Kohli, attending a felicitation. The delay was due to weather complications in Delhi.
