Lionel Messi will be visiting India nearly 14 years after his first visit to India, back in 2011, when he played a friendly against Venezuela at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium. The news of his arrival broke the internet as fans across various parts of India can’t wait to watch their icon.

The last time Lionel Messi visited India, Messi was just 24 years old. Since his last visit, Lionel Messi has gone through a series of ups and downs in his career. From almost retiring after missing the penalty against Chile in the Copa America Finals to probably ending the GOAT debate after conquering the world in 2022.
