Some forwards have more assists than goals in the Saudi Pro League.

These creators mostly attacking midfielders and wingers play integral roles in the success of a team. Without their service, goalscorers’ jobs become more tougher.
The definition of an assist in football is the final touch that leads to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. Here we take a look at the top ten assist providers from the Saudi Pro League.
10. Elton – 28 Assists
He is a player who is known for his vision and play-making capabilities, he can also score goals as well. In 2007, he moved to Saudi side Al Nassr where he scored frequently and provided many assists.
He was very well known for his quick pace and dribbling abilities. He also played for other Saudi clubs like Al Wehda, and Al Fateh.
9. Mohammed Al-Burayk – 28 Assists
Even though he is a full back he have provided many assists till now, the Al-Hilal academy product have been a star player for the club who have consistently performed well.
He is very well known for his well-timed crosses inside the box not only he is a fan favourite but also the managers like him as well. Till now he made 183 appearances for the club and played 46 times for the national team as well.
8. Fahad Al-Muwallad – 30 Assists
Fahad plays as a winger in the Saudi Pro League and is a player who performs well at big stages, he has pace, physicality and strong dribbling ability. Most of his assists came by crosses and cutbacks, he is also very much capable of scoring goals.
Earlier in his career, he was seen as the star player for his country, On 7 February 2012, at just 16 years old, Fahad al-Muwallad made his professional début against Al-Raed. His composure and technical ability is what makes him so special.
7. Igor Coronado – 30 Assists
The Brazillian only played three years in the Saudi Pro League, but his impact was huge for his team. He made 62 appearances for Al Ittihad and he impressed the fans in shot duration only.
He plays as an attacking midfielder in the Saudi Pro League and is known for his through balls which caused a lot of problems for the opposition. His playing style made fans love him so much.
6. Luisinho – 30 Assists
He played for Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehda, he scored some brilliant goals and provided a lot of assists as well. He plays as a winger but he can also play as an attacking midfielder.
He often used to cut inside to create chances for his teammates. Even though he had some injury issues still he made a difference whenever he was on the pitch.

The former Chilean international was a joy to watch, he used to leave an impact on the pitch with his attacking prowess, he made 106 appearances for Al Ittihad and provided some really good assists.
He was the best player for them, his ability to find pockets of space was something which made him so dangerous. Carlos provided 30 assists in the Saudi Pro League.

He is a player who can play at various positions on the field, he can play as a winger, forward as well as an attacking midfielder. He is a very underrated player who have huge quality and still, he is in his prime.
Currently, he is playing for Al-Ittihad, he has won the Saudi Crown Prince Cup, the Saudi Pro League as well as King Cup. Saleh is very smart in his playing style as he can read the opponents very easily.
3. Yahya Al-Shehri – 32 Assists
He made 75 appearances for the national team and was a very important player for his team. He can play with both feet very comfortably and can also play as a winger and attacking midfielder.
He had the best time in his career while playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Pro League where he made 157 appearances, even though he has lost the touch that he used to have earlier still he is capable of hurting opponents.
2. Salem Al-Dawsari – 33 Assists
Currently, he is the best player in Saudi Arabia, he has played his entire career for Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League apart from one season where he played for La Liga side Villareal but unfortunately, he only made one appearance for the club. He is known for his dribbling, goal scoring ability but he can also provide assists as well.
He helped the Saudi Arabia team to make history as he scored the winning goal against Argentina in the 2022 World Cup which they won by 2-1. He have already become a club legend for Al-Hilal. He has made 84 appearances for the national team in which he scored 23 goals.
1. Jehad Al Hussain – 41 Assists
Former Syrian International is top on this list, he played for Al-Taawon, Najran and Al-Raed, even though he didn’t play for any big club in Saudi Arabia he had a big impact on the league as he was very well known for his game intelligence.
Not only at the club level but also at the international level he was very well known. He is a player whose passing accuracy has always been high, with his passing he was able to break down strong defences very easily. He had 41 assists in the Saudi Pro League.
