Super League Kerala 2025: Updated points table, most goals after Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC vs Malappuram FC
The 3rd and 4th positions will be determined in Round 10.
The race for the last two semifinal spots in the Super League Kerala 2025 will go down to the final round as the final match of the Round 9 fixtures ended in a stalemate at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium.
Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC and Malappuram FC played out a 1-1 draw, keeping the competition wide open. Elforsy scored the first goal for Malappuram, while Paulo Victor scored the equaliser for Thiruvananthapuram.
The visiting side, Malappuram FC, took the lead in the 17th minute when Moroccan midfielder Elforsy converted with a stunning long-range strike from outside the box to deceive the keeper and break the deadlock. Thiruvananthapuram equalised within four minutes of the second half restart.
Paulo Victor collected a long pass from midfield, dribbled past the last line of defence and the goalkeeper, and finished with his left foot to score his third goal in the Super League Kerala and bring the scores to parity.
Updated Super League Kerala Points table after Round 9
After this 1-1 draw, the table has not undergone any significant changes, as the Kombans remain in the third position with 12 points and a goal difference of +1. Malappuram FC are just one place behind them with 11 points in hand and a goal difference of +1.
Kannur Warriors are in the 5th position with 10 points and have a relatively worse -4 goal difference. The race for the final two playoff spots will now be determined in the final tenth round of the Super League Kerala.
Calicut FC remain at the top of the table with 20 points, and Thrissur Magic FC is placed second with 17 points. Both teams have already secured their berth in the playoffs.
Forca Kochi FC cemented their position at the bottom of the table with just three points in 9 matches and are out of the playoff contention.
Qualification Scenario for Malappuram, Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur
For Kannur Warriors FC, only a win with a very huge margin against Thrissur Magic FC is the only option remaining to have a glimmer of hope of progressing towards the Super League Kerala knockouts.
If their match against Thrissur somehow ends in a stalemate or in favour of the Magicians, Kannur Warriors would be eliminated from the tournament, paving the way for Kombans and Malappuram FC to qualify for the knockouts.
For Malappuram, a win would secure their spot in the semi-finals. However, if they either draw or lose their match against Forca Kochi, they would have to depend on the result of the Kannur Warriors vs Thrissur Magic FC match and hope that the Warriors do not emerge victorious in the fixture.
For the Kombans, even a draw against Calicut FC would suffice, given that Kannur does not beat Thrissur Magic FC by a margin of five goals. A win would mean direct qualification, while a loss would mean that they would have to depend on the results of the Malappuram FC vs Forca Kochi and Kannur Warriors vs Thrissur Magic FC match.

Final round fixtures in Super League Kerala 2025
In the first matchday of Round 10, Thrissur Magic FC will face Kannur Warriors FC on the 2nd December at the Corporation Stadium. The Super League Kerala action will then shift to the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, where Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC will face the table toppers Calicut FC on the very next day.
In the final group stage match of the Super League Kerala, Malappuram FC will host Forca Kochi at the Payyanad Stadium on December 4.
