The Blue Tigers will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in 2025 against the Bengal Tigers.
Manolo Marquez will be searching for his second win as the Indian Football Team‘s head coach when they begin their AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers campaign against Bangladesh in Group C. With the game set to be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Tuesday, the Spaniard will be keen to make the home advantage count.
The game will be the second encounter of 2025 for the Blue Tigers as they look to get a fantastic start to their Group C campaign. With games against Hong Kong and Singapore still to play, Marquez will be keen for a victorious start.
Having only secured three draws and one loss under the Spaniard in his first four games, the 3-0 win against Maldives brings a lot of confidence and momentum. Following that win, a win against the Red and Green will be on top of the agenda for Marquez and his men.
The game will also witness the debut of former FA Cup-winning and Premier League midfielder Hamza Choudhury in the Red and Green colours. The Sheffield United midfielder will be the danger man and a vital cog in the heart of the midfield of the Bengal Tigers as a defensive enforcer.

Victory from the upcoming Group C games can help them qualify for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
