  1  Vs    2

The result doesn't show the reality of the game and it clearly wasn't as easy for New Zealand. India played a disappointing game but so did NZ and the result is actually a shock and not a comprehensive one!

This is Sabin Castelino Signing off!!

The referee might have to show a yellow card to the whole stadium as everyone is dissenting unequivocally!!

90+5' IT IS ALL OVER!! The Indian team bows out of the game with a shock defeat in a match that looked like it was going for a draw.

90+4' Amrinder gets mauled down by Billingsley!

90+3'  Udanta comes close off a Chhetri Freekick! But the opportunity goes away as quickly as it came!

90+2' PRONOY HALDER YELLOW CARD AS HE GETS IN THE FACE OF THE REFEREE

90' 5 minutes added

Substitution:

OUT BOSE         IN JERRY

OUT SARPREET  IN MATTHEW

88' Jeje comes very close to launch the ball sky high but India win two corners and come close again thanks to Thapa!

87' Freekick to NZ as Pronoy's failed dive gives NZ an advantage!

86' GOAL for New Zealand! DYER Puts NZ ahead!! The goal came from Sarpreet's brilliant pass.

85' As the match is coming to the 90th minute mark, only Sarpreet seems to be showing some initiative.

84' Sarpreet swings in a ball wide off Amrinders post!

82' With Pronoy in the middle of the park, the order of things seem to be moving India's way despite a few fouls.

81' Sandesh is now involved in a tussle with Billingsley! Foul awarded to India.

79' Ranjan blocks off Billingsley as he misses a sitter in front of goal. In the very next move, Amrinder makes a stunning catch!

77' The Indian strikers are getting frustrated as they are not recieveing decent delivery from the wings. On the other hand the defence is much calmer with Sandesh in the backline.

76' Jeje  gets the ball in the box off Sunil Chhetri but is hardly able to do anything as he is crowded out!

75' Sunil is playing a much deeper role and Jeje looks very isolated upfront!

Substitution:

OUT MYER BEVAN    IN BILLINGSLEY

OUT DE JONG           IN MOSES DYER

OUT NARAYAN DAS  IN JHINGAN

71' NZ and India have switched back to a hard tackling direct game and it seems that the game has slowed own drastically.

65' HOLICHARAN GETS A YELLOW CARD!!

An unnecessary tackle sees the left winger go into the book!

64' JEJE looks miffed by the way the NZ are picking on him and restricting his game play.

Substitutions:

OUT TIMOTHY    IN WIHONGI

61' Both teams are now playing an incisive form of football and seem to have given up the direct long ball approach! It surely is yielding results!

59' Sarpreet is wreaking Havoc down Pritam's defences but is not finding enough support to put the ball into the back of the net despite providing point perfect crosses!

57' A freekick even at the edge of the box is not placed well by the NEW Zealand team and now India is pressing high and doing so with real Zeal!!

Substitution:

OUT INGHAM       IN CAMERON

OUT KURUNIYAN    IN NARZARY

51' Both team pressing really high to gain leverage and score a goal! The NZ goal seems to have affected the noise in the Stadium negatively!

49' GOAL NEW ZEALAND!!! DeJong Equalises!

In a loss of concentration the NZ midfield releases De Jong and he puts the ball into the back of the net for NZ!!

47' GOALLLLL!!!!!! SUNILLLLLLL CHHHHHEEEEETRRRRRIIIIIII!!!!!

Cameron the NZ full back passes to GK Woud and he is pressured by Sunil to put the ball to his feet and Captain slots the ball in!

 Substitutions:

IN PRONOY      OUT BORGES

IN JEJE             OUT BALWANT

45' KICK OFF by India to the Second half!

The First Half comes to a frenzied close as both teams struggle and it looks like we may not have a winner today! India need to press harder if they want to take anything home from this game. Although a draw suffices to stroll into the final, the breaking of momentum is unacceptable as India looks to stitch another unbeaten run.

IT IS HALF TIME AS THE REF BLOWS THE WHISTLE!

45+1' Rowlin Borges fouls Sarpreet but the resulting freekick hits the ball!

45' The intensity has fianlly returned and both teams are pushing for a first half goal as 1 minute is added!

43' Sunil comes really close as a headed cross from Balwant is shot narrowly over a beaten Keeper!

42' Chhetri breaks with the ball and his combine with Udanta releases Ashique who bungles the opportunity!

41' YELLOW CARD to Subhashish Bose as a tackle is mistimed and he puts a New Zealander to the ground.

40' New Zealand's tactics Explained:

#ChipTheBallToTheWingersChestAndWeTakeItFromThere

38' Anirudh is the brawler-chief today as he is literally showing who is the boss in the middle of the pitch and is also picking fights to hassle the opposition!

36' Sarpreet Singh comes close again and this time with a freekick which his teamate misses thanks to Amrinder's brilliant save!

35' GOAL LINE SAVE by Rowlin Borges as New Zealand miss a sitter which could have been put in by Boxall!

34' Sarpreet looks like the focal point of the NZ attacks and he comes close with a diving header only to miss from close range!

32' Sarpreet unleashes a shot for NZ and forces Amrinder to make a save!

30' With only Anirudh Thapa providing any pressure to NZ! it feels like both teams are trying to emulate Italian Serie A!

28' Substitution : Mohammed Rafique out, Udanta Singh in!

Sources on the pitch say it is due to injury but it very well could have been due to his non-involvement in the game! India needs a strong wing presence and Udanta might well provide that!!

27' India and New Zealand seem to have lost steam as the game is geting monotonous and the ball spends more time off the pitch than on it!

24' Sunil Chhetri flagged offside as Amrinder launches the ball towards him!!

22' Sunil Chhetri and the NZ keeper, Woud tussle as both vie for the ball only to be finally won by Woud.

20' Foul on Chhetri attracts a Freekick and it is Narayan who takes it only to be collected by the All White's Keeper.

19' New Zealand seem to be taking the pace out of the game and shifitng the game to their wings to pressure the full backs!!

17' It is a collision on the pitch and Rafique and Sarpreet take to the ground!

16' Sarpreet fires a shot towards goal only to be collected calmly by Amrinder!

15' Yellow CARD to Narayan Das who come in from behind to drop the New Zelander to the ground!!

13' Anirudh is behaving like a BIG BOY!! He is pushing people twice his size to the ground!

12' New Zealand come close again!! This time Andre De Jong's shot sails over the bar!!

11' It looks like it will be a slugfest all the way through and both teams are playing a brand of rough and tough football!!

10' Ashique Kruniyan is going to give his all! The player is playing like a free tackling Eric Cantonna!!

8' Yellow Card to Jai Ingham as he flips Ashique Kuruniyan by pulling on his shirt!! Bad show of Sportsmanship!!

6' Long balls! Long balls every where!! India is missing the possesion based games from the first two matches! Anirudh needs a better partner to show case his talent and guile!

5' India come close with Balwant's cross but Chhetri is crowded away before he could make something of it!

4' Without Pronoy Halder in midfield, India is looking shaky and is not able to string even two passes cleanly!

2' Amrinder saves!! What a save! Salaam Ranjan Singh and Narayan Das finding it difficult at the back!

1' New Zealand come close to scoring and it would have been a nightmarish start for the new Indian Keeper Amrinder Singh.

1' It's Kick off and New Zealand start the proceedings with the foot directly on the pedal!!
