The Jamshedpur FC forward will become a free agent after the current campaign as his contract is coming to an end.
As the ISL 2019-20 season nears an end, FC Goa have started talks with Indian international and Jamshedpur FC striker Farukh Choudhary over a possible move in the summer, Khel Now can confirm. The 23-year-old has had had a good season at Jamshedpur and is being considered one of the key players for the re-building process post the Sergio Lobera era.

However, it is understood that the club and player are not yet on the same page with regard to his wage demands. The player has asked for an exorbitant rise in his salary and the Gaurs are not willing to meet the demands.
Khel Now can also confirm that it has been some time that the representatives of the player and FC Goa have been speaking about a possible move and the Gaurs want the differences to come to an end as soon as possible, as two more ISL sides are chasing the striker's signature.
Farukh Choudhary has plied his trade for Kerala Blasters and Mumbai City FC before his stint with Jamshedpur FC. The Men of Steel are currently out of the playoffs race and find themselves seventh on the points table, with just 18 points in 17 games.

On the other hand, FC Goa are chasing the top spot in the league, which will enable them to play in the AFC Champions League next season. However, in order to achieve the feat, the Gaurs need to win against Jamshedpur in their final league game and also hope ATK drop points in ther remaining fixtures.
