Antonio Iriondo revealed that he is not taking Bengaluru FC lightly

“The match against Bengaluru FC is very intense, because they are the defending champions. It’s true that they only have two points from the two games and we won our first games. But, we would be undermining them by taking them lightly. They are a very good side with very good players. This will be a good test for us and we will try to win the game.” “In these kinds of games, the most important thing is the mindset, Rather, we’d focus on our team than opponent’s team because there are some areas we’d like to improve on. We would like to overcome our weaknesses from our last two games and do well in the next game,” Antonio Iriondo added.

Carles Cuadrat pointed out the things which are improving in ISL

“The Indian Super League has been excellent in many regards – promoting of young players, bringing in top managers from around the world, and even the quality of football are all improving. Like this, the calendar is something that is improving and we have no problem with,” he said. “One thing that isn’t improving is the referees. The standards of everything else are going up, but not the standards of the referee. We’ve seen some incredible situations that are clear refereeing mistakes already this season, that cannot be seen in professional top football,” the Blues head coach opined.
