The hosts registered the win over the southerners owing to an own goal from Bartholomew Ogbeche.

Jamshedpur FC rode on mistakes by Kerala Blasters and staged a comeback, beating them 3-2 in a dramatic encounter. Kerala Blasters lost all the momentum they built after Abdul Hakku picked up a red to turn the game in the favor of Jamshedpur FC. Strangely, Messi Bouli and Ogbeche played a vital part in Jamshedpur's goals as the former's handball lead to a penalty and the latter featuring on both side's of the score-sheet after firing into his own net.

Jamshedpur FC

Subrata Paul- 5.5

Subrata Paul cost Kerala Blasters an early goal after he failed to clear the ball and let Messi Bouli fire into an open net. He couldn’t do much to stop the second goal and managed to pull off a few fine saves in the latter half of the game.

Joyner Lourenco- 6.0

Joyner unnecessarily picked up a yellow very early in the game and looked shaky in defence as he was haunted by the Blasters high pressing early on in the game. However, he contributed with some great clearances later on and had a great night with the ball as he displayed some fine passing.

Bikash Jairu- 6.5

Bikash had a decent outing in the midfield and put up a formidable performance without any considerable errors throughout the game.

Amarjit Singh- 7.0

Amarjit was brilliant in midfield as he seemed calm throughout the ninety minutes of play and was one of the very few players to handle Kerala’s high press and played a crucial role in defence with a few blocks and interceptions.

Sumeet Passi- 6.0

The Indian attacker didn’t have a very prominent role to play in the final third however often dropped down deep to help his team in defence and played his part well.

Farukh Choudhary- 6.5

Farukh put up a rather good performance despite not contributing to the team’s attack. He played a deeper role as compared to his natural position and contributed to the team’s defence by making a few important interceptions. He had his own share of chances up the field, but none of them had an impact on the scoreline.

Substituitions

Narender Gahlot- 6.5

The India international was called up early on in the game to fill in Tiri’s boots as the defender left the field owing to a collision with their goalkeeper. Narender stepped up and put up a great performance as he managed to amount a total of nine clearances.

Kerala Blasters

TP Rehenesh- 5.5

The scoreline does very little justice to the ‘keepers performance as he often managed to pull of some fine saves to keep the Blasters in the game. A penalty which just brushed past his hands and an own goal ruined his night.

Jessel Carneiro- 6.5

Jessel had a brilliant outing on a night where he had to put in an extra shift as Kerala Blasters were reduced to ten men against Jamshedpur FC. An assist to his name and some fine defensive performances, he showed great intent on the field.

Abdul Hakku- 4.0

Clearly the dark cloud that darkened Kerala’s bright start to the day, Hakku worked well in defence until he unnecessarily picked up two yellow cards and reduced the visitors down to ten men.

Mohamad Rakip- 7.0

The Indian defender was solid and defence and played his role to perfection as he absolutely stood out on all fronts in defence. Rakip performed excellently in defence and made ten clearances and a few interceptions as he kept the Jamshedpur attackers at bay for most of the ninety minutes.

Sahal Abdul Samad- 5.5

Kerala’s golden boy was sacrificed and brought off as his side were reduced to ten men. The first half saw Sahal involving himself attack and looking to make something off the game. The Indian midfielder was desperate to contribute in attack and showed great intent, however couldn’t do much in the time he was on the field.

Halicharan Narzary- 5.5

Halicharan Narzary had a great first half and was running riots on the wings as Kerala’s high press allowed him space and time on the ball. His second half performance was a mere opposite of his first half brilliance and was rather forgetful.

Substitutes

Jeakson Singh- 5.0

Jeakson came on early in the second half after Blasters were reduced to ten men, but he hardly made an impact as he could string just a few passes as they were on the back-foot for most parts of the second half.

Came on too late to make an impact on the game.
