Jamshedpur FC sign Indian Arrows' defender Jitendra Singh
The youngster has poenned a three-year deal with the Men of Steel.
Jamshedpur FC announced the signing of 18-year-old defender Jitendra Singh from I-League side Indian Arrows on Thursday. The youngster has penned a deal for a term of three years with the Jharkhand- based side.
Born in Manipur, the 18-year-old has already represented the national team in the FIFA Under- 17 world cup which was held in 2017. He also represented the Under-20 national side. He has been a part of the Indian Arrows squad since 2017 and already played over 30 I-League matches and is rated as one of the versatile defenders in the country.
Jitendra becomes the fourth recruit for Jamshedpur FC from Indian Arrows along with Narender Gahlot, Amarjit Singh and Aniket Yadav.

Jamshedpur FC, CEO, Mukul Choudhari added “Jitendra joins us with immense pedigree behind him. We are really excited to have him in our ranks. He is young and his development was closely monitored by our recruitment team. His ability to read the game and movements with and without the ball has impressed out a lot. We welcome him to the family of Jamshedpur FC.”
