The 22-year-old scored a goal and assisted another in the Men of Steel's win against the southerners.

Jamshedpur FC went atop the Indian Super League (ISL) table with a 3-1 trouncing of Hyderabad FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Tuesday night. Goals from Farukh Choudhary, Aniket Jadhav and Sergio Castel solidified back-to-back home wins for the Men of Steel, while Hyderabad looked in complete disarray.

Here are our Indian player ratings for the game:

[KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]

Jamshedpur FC

Subrata Paul- 5.5

Paul had hardly anything to do in the first half and was sloppy in allowing Marcelinho’s shot to wiggle through his body for the equalizer. Thankfully, his side redeemed his mistake with two goals in the second half.

Robin Gurung- 6.0

Gurung cut a diligent figure through the right, always marching forward to give his side an extra option in attack. He did his defensive duties pretty well, making five decent clearances and tackling cleverly twice to win back possession.

Keegan Pereira- 6.0

Keegan was hardly tested on his side, but did well clearing the danger six times and coming up with three blocks as well. But, his lapse in concentration allowed him to be outwitted by Marcelinho, who dribbled past him with comparative ease for the only goal of the visitors. Linked well with Farukh later on and surprisingly had a powerful shot on goal saved.

Watch: Jamshedpur FC Vs Hyderabad FC highlights

Mobashir Rahman- 6.5

Making his first start of the season, Mobashir showed impressive composure given his age. He sat happily in midfield moving the possession onto his senior players, maintaining a 76% passing accuracy.

But, when it came to creating chances, he did so well by looping clever long passes forward, breaking Hyderabad’s defensive line in the ninth minute to create Farukh’s opportunity. Kept things compact and maintained control well.

Isaac Vanmalsawma- 6.0

Isaac acted as a menace through the left, making life difficult for Nikhil Poojary. He forced a wobbly save off Kamaljit early on, before trying a unique spectacular later. The former Chennaiyin FC man’s persistent running made him a thorn in the side of the visitors. Did his defensive duties well too.

Farukh Choudhary- 8.0

Watch: Farukh Choudhary speaks following Jamshedpur FC Vs Hyderabad FC match

Farukh was an absolute lively figure at the Furnace on Tuesday night. Moved into all the right positions, took on defenders with vigour and brought sparks of excitement into Jamshedpur’s game. He was denied early on by a brave Kamaljit save after drifting into empty space, but made no mistake to pounce on his rebound in the 34th minute to score from close range.

Retained his threat after moving to the left wing, running rings around young Asish Rai. Slotted a superb low cross to assist Jadhav’s goal. Had the chance for a brace, but his swift header was well saved by Kamaljit in the 76th minute.

Substitutions

Aniket Jadhav- 7.0

Jadhav had a brilliant chance to score his first ISL goal immediately after coming on, but scuffed a diving header over. He didn’t miss in the 62nd minute, receiving Farukh’s pass perfectly, before powering his shot into the top corner. Later tried returning the favour with a silky move and cross to Farukh in the 76th, but saw it saved.

Sumeet Passi- N/A

Came on too late and was unable to affect the game in any way.

Hyderabad FC

Kamaljit Singh- 6.0

Watch: Kamaljit Singh denied Farukh Choudhary in his second goal attempt during Jamshedpur FC Vs Hyderabad FC

After the nightmare in Kolkata on Friday, Kamaljit seemed a bit nervous initially. Scuffed an early shot, but maintained his strength afterwards. Made a solid save off Farukh’s chance in the ninth minute, but despite saving Piti’s powerful attempt, he unluckily saw Choudhary score off the rebound. Singh could’ve done better with Castel’s attempt, but redeemed himself by making two solid late saves to avoid another battering.

Gurtej Singh- 5.0

Gurtej was constantly harried by Castel’s movement, often being dragged out of his comfort zone. Despite eight clearances, he looked nervous throughout and his inability to clear danger resulted in Castel’s goal. Outwitted by the Spaniard for his killer-blow strike as well.

Sahil Panwar- 5.0

After a shocker in Kolkata, Sahil’s struggles continued at Jamshedpur. He was constantly caught wrong-footed, allowing Farukh to go past him in the ninth minute,  before being bailed out by Kamaljit. Panwar was again out-muscled by the goalscorer for the goal and caught out of position multiple times. Substituted after picking up what looks a worrisome knock.

Nikhil Poojary- 4.5

Poojary isn’t a defender and that showed on Tuesday night. He worked his socks off to put in a double-shift, but was caught out by Jamshedpur’s intricate moves. Poojary allowed Piti to gracefully run past him, before taking a shot which led to the goal. He made up with five clearances and three interceptions, but still seemed uneasy at the back.

Things didn’t improve after he moved to the left, as he allowed Jadhav to get a free header after coming on. Lost track of him again in the 62nd, and the youngster scored from that. Was completely uninspiring going forward. Needs to be played in a more expressive, attacking role.

Rohit Kumar- 6.5

Making his debut for Hyderabad FC, Kumar proved why he should start more games. He was an industrious figure in midfield, showcasing impressive energy to dart into positions and win back the ball. He cleverly played an early free-kick to allow Marcelinho to go forward and score the equalizer. Maintained 76% passing accuracy and was his team's only driving force in a dull team performance.

Adil Khan- 5.5

Watch: Adil Khan speaks following Jamshedpur FC Vs Hyderabad FC

Adil held his own in midfield, but lacked that creative spark needed in a midfield role. He did his defensive duties well with four tackles and diligent pressing, but couldn’t really provide much in attack. Must be drafted back into defence.

Mohammed Yasir- 4.5

Yasir was rather isolated on the left-side, barely getting many opportunities to create anything or run at Jamshedpur’s defence. Hardly did anything in the entire game.

Robin Singh- 4.5

Almost an invisible man in the first half, barely getting a touch inside the area. He received a brilliant chance to score from close range early in the second half. However, he scuffed it and was offside as well. A late shot wide of the target was his only contribution in the game.

Substitutions

Asish Rai- 5.0

The youngster faced the fire of the Furnace and was unable to save himself from getting burned. Farukh completely overpowered him and left him red-faced on many occasions.

Gani Ahmed Nigam- 5.5

Nigam came on as Marcelinho’s replacement, but could barely create anything.

Abhishek Halder- N/A

Brought on in added-time. Could not affect the game in any way.
