The hosts made a comeback in the second half as Raphael Messi Bouli's brace cancelled out Jamshedpur FC's lead.

Kerala Blasters and Jamshedpur FC played out yet another draw on Friday night, after two goals by the visitors were cancelled out by a brace from Raphael Messi Bouli. Although, Jamshedpur FC scored the first pair of goals, the fact that the hosts had ten shots on target could come as a motivating sign for Eelco Schattorie. A penalty by Piti and another neat finish by CK Vineeth were enough to earn the Men Of Steel an important away point in Kochi.

Let's take a look at how the Indian players performed on Friday night:

Kerala Blasters

TP Rehenesh- 6.0

The shot-stopper didn’t have much to do for the entirety of the game because of Kerala Blasters’ dominance of possession. Should’ve done a better job to stop the second Jamshedpur FC goal.

Mohammad Rakip- 6.5

The full-back had a tough time dealing with the constant attacking onslaught from the Jamshedpur FC wingers, but did his job satisfactorily. Could’ve worked harder towards the end though.

Raju Gaikwad- 6.0

The signs of fatigue began to show in the later stages of the game and he should’ve positioned himself better in the lead up to the CK Vineeth goal in the second half.

Watch: Kerala Blasters 2-2 Jamshedpur FC highlights

Jessel Carneiro- 7.0

The full-back’s displays have been fairly decent since the start of the campaign and he provides the Kerala Blasters side with a good balance of attack and defence on the left flank.

Jeakson Singh- 6.5

The youngster picked up an unfortunate booking during the match, but made some decent passes along the way as well. Linked up well with Rakip in the second half.

Seityasen Singh- 6.0

The midfielder had many moments of blemish over the course of the fixture, but came up with the goods in the end by winning the decisive penalty late on.

Holicharan Narzary- 6.5

Worked hard throughout the time he was on the pitch and fearlessly put himself about to try and win the ball in the final third. Could become a vital player if he improves his final delivery.

Substitutes

Sahal Abdul Samad- 6.5

The young superstar came on and had an immediate impact in the final third, as he played the ball into the box that was headed home by Messi Bouli for the Blasters’ equalizer.

Prashant Karuthadthkani- 6.5

Another one of the high-energy players in this Kerala Blasters side, the young winger did a decent job of driving forward against Jamshedpur FC.

Samuel Lalmuanpuia- N/A

Didn’t have time to make an impact.

Jamshedpur FC

Subrata Paul- 6.5

The custodian had a very good night under the bar for the visitors, despite the fact that he conceded two late goals that cost Jamshedpur FC the win.

Narendar Gahlot- 6.5

The Jamshedpur FC defender continues to impress on the right flank, thanks to some good forward movement as well defensive cover. Works hard while tracking back as well.

Robin Gurung- 6.0

Although, the defender didn’t have a very eventful evening going forward, he was guilty of giving away the penalty that allowed Kerala Blasters to make a comeback into the match.

Jitendra Singh- 6.0

Tried to move the ball around with intent, but didn’t really have the penetration he might’ve been hoping for. Came in and out of the game for periods.

Issac Vanmalsawma- 6.0

The man who scored a crucial goal for Jamshedpur FC in their previous game didn’t have a very influential evening in Kochi. Struggled to keep hold of the ball as Kerala Blasters pressed high.

Farukh Choudhary- 7.5

The youngster continues to show why the Jamshedpur FC management have kept faith in him this season. Was brimming with confidence as he carried the ball.

Sumeet Passi- 5.5

The striker didn’t have any sort of impact whatsoever and failed to give the Kerala Blasters defence a hard time on the night. Made some good forward passes in the first half though.
