The Marina Machans kick-off the second half of their season with a trip to Odisha FC.
Chennaiyin FC will face Odisha FC in their away encounter in Bhubaneswar on Monday. Accordingly, their head coach Owen Coyle addressed media personnel ahead of the clash. Regarding the game, Owen Coyle said, “I think we are looking forward to the game. I think we are playing against a very good side with a terrific young coach. Having watched them lately, they are very talented, particularly in the forward areas. So, again, as always we are very respectful of our opponents." “But, equally, we feel we have a very talented squad ourselves. We are playing good football, we are exciting to watch and we want to do that in the game against Odisha. It will be a tough game, as there are two very attack-minded teams trying to win the game. We will probably get to try and win three points." [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] “It will be tough, but we certainly believe that if we are at our best, we are capable of winning the game. I mean we are showing good form. Jamshedpur, we should have won again, with the handball in the last minute." “I think everyone saw the performance against Goa, where we felt very unlucky not to take anything from the game, having given them a three-goal lead in the match. So, there’s a lot to be excited, a lot to be positive in the match. As I said, we are all looking forward to a tough game.” Andre Schembri also attended the press conference. He shed some light on the new coach’s tenure with the club so far. Schembri stated, “Yes, of course, I think as a team we are gelling much better now. Our team is really good, really intense; the team is full of passion now. There is more commitment as well." “You can see that we are more attack-minded now and you can see that in the last three games, we scored a lot of goals. We are attacking a lot and hopefully tomorrow we will give our best try to win three points.” [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Team News
