The Nizams’ boss claimed that this has been a great season for his young team.
On Friday, Hyderabad FC registered their second consecutive victory in the ISL after defeating NorthEast United 2-4 at Tilak Maidan in Goa. The Nizams went two goals ahead in the first half, but the Guwahati-based side pulled two goals back and leveled the score just before half-time. In the second half, Hyderabad delivered a winning punch after two late goals from dynamic forward Liston Colaco. After the game, their coach Manolo Marquez shared his thoughts on the victory.
“Our team is a young team. This season for them is a great season, not just in terms of football but in terms of experience. If we want to be a good team or a great team, we have to learn to manage in all situations.”
Half-time talk
“I was very angry, because we controlled the game and then in five minutes, we concede two goals,” Marquez said, when asked about the team-talk at the end of the first half.

“First with the penalty and second after the corner,” he continued. “But, in the second part of the break, I told them that we have 45 minutes and that we have to play the way we started. My players played bravely and we deserved to win today,” he commented.
Late goals
The Nizams scored two late goals to seal the deal and the coach admitted that they left it too late to finish the game.
“Yes, we left it too late, especially with the third goal. They had a very clear chance when the referee awarded that free-kick in the last minute. I have my doubts about the referee’s decision, but then we scored the fourth goal,” Marquez explained.
Liston Colaco
Liston Colaco, the man who changed the game is the most favourite topic of the journalists, reckons the Spaniard. He was questioned about the young forward once again and he replied, “I love this person.
“He is a fantastic person and he will be a fantastic player. But, he was injured 2-3 times before and was not ready to play for the full 90 minutes today. When he finally came on, the other team was tired and he can take advantage of his qualities.”

Indian players
The Indian players at Hyderabad have played really well this season and Marquez also gave his opinion on them.
“They have a very good level. They train well but for me, it is difficult to say who is the best. Today, Yasir was out, but he had a good game. His substitute was a player who performed even better – Liston in this case. Hitesh (Sharma) didn’t play today, but he is also very important to the team,” the tactician concluded.
