The 54-year-old also believes that the Red and Gold Brigade have good players, coach and support staff in place.

Jamshedpur FC will be eager to build on the win against ATK Mohun Bagan when they face SC East Bengal in the Indian Super League. Ahead of the game, head coach Owen Coyle spoke in the pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

Jamshedpur FC head coach Owen Coyle sounded confident with his team ahead of facing East Bengal. "We have been threatening to win in the two previous games against Odisha and Hyderabad, we thought we could have won those games. So we knew it was only a matter of time to turn those draws into wins and everyone at large were terrific from start to finish (against ATK Mohun Bagan). That's what we need, we need accomplished performances through the duration of the whole match," he began.

"Having watched East Bengal's games, I think in all three games they have been unlucky not to take something from the game after giving great performances. There have been a lot of bad luck, some injuries here and there," he opined.

"There have some really good players, a really good coach in Robbie Fowler and even in the staff, people I know. So it is going to be a very tough game, as tough it was on the other night against ATK Mohun Bagan. So we have to make sure that we are ready for that. It's the fifth game in fifteen days, I don't think anybody else has had that challenge in the league. But we will get the boys fresh, recovered and ready to go and try and win a tough game," Owen Coyle added.

The Scotsman showered praises on Robbie Fowler and feels that the Kolkata giants will improve with time.

"Robbie Fowler has already shown with the jobs he has had that he is a very capable coach. He has got a good staff, people who have gained experience with their time, football people, so they know the game inside out. Also, the time they were given the longer they spend together, East Bengal will be able to take up Robbie's game and will be a real force and a quality side," the Jamshedpur FC head coach said.

"They (East Bengal) are a huge club and have got good people there. Like coaching, everything takes time, people want it immediately, they think everything happens straight away. It takes time working with good people which East Bengal and Robbie (Fowler) has, so they are definitely a good side," he added.

Owen Coyle also revealed the present status of injuries in his side, "We have long term injuries with David Grande, Narender and Joyner. Nick Fitzgerlad remains out injured while Alex Lima is yet to be a hundred per cent but he has such a big heart that he is prepared to put himself out there. So he is a doubt for this match with two-three knocks from the previous fixture."

The Men of Steel have had a very busy schedule in the opening weeks of the ISL. While Owen Coyle does not blame the congested fixture list as a reason for the injuries, he also feels that they have had it tougher than the rest.

"Well, the injuries we have had were all before the first games. Narender, Grande and Joyner were injured before the ball was kicked," he quipped.

"Nick Fitzgerald picked up his injury in the first game with a bang on his knee and it has taken a little bit of time to settle down. The other boys have been playing through aches and strains, it could be long term but you have to protect that We manage to give them some rest wherever possible," the 54-year-old shared.

"But you look at the schedule and I don't think there's anybody who has got the schedule as Jamshedpur has had, play every three days. But we are experienced enough to understand how it works and we are trying to rest and recover whenever we can and we will make sure we are fresh and ready to give our very best," he concluded.
