Ratings: Colaco masterclass helps ATK Mohun Bagan beat FC Goa

The Mariners have climbed to third place on the points table.
ATK Mohun Bagan continued their winning run under Juan Ferrando with a gritty 2-1 win over his former side FC Goa on Wednesday. Liston Colaco opened the scoring with an amazing long range striker in the 23rd minute, before Roy Krishna made it 2-0 with a thunderous goal in the 56th minute.
Jorge Ortiz pulled one back thanks to a mistake from Amrinder Singh in the 81st minute. But, the Mariners were able to see off a win to move into the top three of the Indian Super League (ISL) standings. Here are the player ratings for the ATK Mohun Bagan - FC Goa game:

Amrinder Singh- 5.0
Made some nice saves but ruined chances of a clean sheet with a howler to gift Goa a late goal.

Disciplined and energetic on both sides of the pitch.
Pritam Kotal- 6.5
Occasionally caught out of position, but relatively secure at the back – making some key challenges to avert disaster.
Tiri- 7.0
The Spaniard maintained a sturdy defensive shape, keeping things tight at the back. Frustrated Devendra Murgaonkar and came up with five clearances and two interceptions to bail out his teammates from trouble.
Subhashish Bose- N/A
Proactive in the first half hour but forcibly subbed off after picking up an injury before half-time.
Carl McHugh- 7.5
Proactive and aggressive in his deeper role, making three interceptions and four blocks. Put in a solid shift to nullify Goa’s supply through the middle and moved the ball forward efficiently too.
Deepak Tangri- 7.5
The youngster roamed around midfield like a hound, constantly disrupting Goa’s attacks. Made a clever interception before passing the ball to Liston for his strike. Ultimately, finished with seven interceptions and two tackles after an impressive outing.
Manvir Singh- 5.0
Worked hard with defensive contributions but uninspired again going forward.

Hugo Boumous- 7.0
Lively in his free midfield role again. Pressed the Goa midfielders strongly and created some nice chances through set-pieces. Picked up an assist with Krishna’s strike.
Liston Colaco- 8.0
Buzzed like a bee with his tormenting runs through the left. Opened the scoring with a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque strike from distance. Too hot to handle for his former side.
Roy Krishna- 7.0
Finally broke his goal drought with an absolutely thunderous volley. Troubled Goa with his movement and worked hard to open up space for teammates.
Substitutes
Prabir Das- 6.0
Showcased impressive work-rate running up and down the right after replacing Subhasish.
Joni Kauko- 6.0
Moved the ball forward efficiently.
David Williams- 6.0
The ATK Mohun Bagan forward was unable to really test FC Goa shot-stopper Dheeraj.

Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem- 5.5
Had nothing to do regarding the second goal. However, although the first goal claims a similar feat, still Dheeraj could have done better with his positioning. However, in the 82nd minute prevented Manvir Singh going past him to place the ball into the net.
Ivan Gonzalez- 6.5
Won 50% of the ground duels. Enjoyed 87% passing accuracy. Also made a key pass. Made nine accurate long balls out of 11. Made three interceptions and tackles each, apart from a clearance.
Dylan Fox- 6.0
Won two out of three aerial duels. Made one clearance and block each. Enjoyed a passing accuracy of 86%. Delivered two successful long balls out of three.
Aibanbha Dohling- 7.0
Made two clearances, one block and an interception. Also committed four tackles. Wasn’t dribbled past a single time! Won 80% of the ground duels and all the aerial duels. Delivered long balls at an accuracy of 100%.
Seriton Fernandes- 6.0
Didn’t attempt dribbling past the opponent. Won three out of seven ground duels. Made two interceptions and three tackles. Lost the possession of the ball 14 times.

Alberto Noguera- 7.5
Made 108 touches on the ball. Enjoyed a passing accuracy of 84%. Orchestrated the game from the middle. Delivered three key passes. Also delivered six successful long balls out of eight attempts. Won 14 of the 22 ground duels.
Was fouled seven times. Committed four tackles, two interceptions and blocked one shot. Dribbled past the opponent on all three occasions. Also, two of his shots were blocked.
Muhammed Nemil- 6.0
The FC Goa youngster made his first start in the ISL against ATK Mohun Bagan. Was subbed in the second half. Won 50% of the ground duels. Enjoyed a passing accuracy of 77%. Received a yellow card for committing a foul on Prabir Das.
Princeton Rebello- 6.5
Enjoyed a passing accuracy of 87%. Delivered six successful long balls out of seven. Won four out of nine ground duels and all the aerial duels (two out of two) he participated in. Committed three tackles and made two interceptions.
Saviour Gama- 5.5
Wasn’t at his best. Failed to win an aerial duel. Won just three out of eight ground duels. Made one clearance and tackle each.
Devendra Murgaonkar- 6.0
Wasn’t at his best. Attempted no shots. Enjoyed a passing accuracy of 80%. Was successful in dribbling past the opponent once in two attempts.
Jorge Ortiz- 7.0
Was off-colour but secured a consolation goal for FC Goa on the 81st minute. Made three key passes and enjoyed 100% in sending in crosses. Won 50% of the ground duels and all the aerial ones. Lost the possession 18 times.

Makan Winkle Chote- 5.0
Failed to create any impact on the game. Made one interception. Attempted a cross but was inaccurate.

Made one dribbling attempt and was successful in it. Won the only ground duel he committed.
