The shotstopper made six saves, some of them from point-blank range.
Hyderabad FC booked a place in the Indian Super League (ISL) final for the first time, despite losing their semi-final second leg 0-1 to ATK Mohun Bagan. Roy Krishna’s goal in the 79th minute was the only thing that separated the two teams on the night, but the result was enough to see the Nizams go forward with an aggregate of 3-2 over the two legs.
The Nizams will now face Kerala Blasters in the final on Sunday, March 20. Here are the player ratings for the game.
ATK Mohun Bagan (By Uttiyo Sarkar)
Amrinder Singh – 6.0
Amrinder wasn’t under that much pressure because of ATKMB’s dominance, but made a few nice saves. Booked for mockingly asking for a VAR check in the second half.
Prabir Das – 7.5
Played with his heart on his sleeve, darting back and forth on the right-wing to make the side his own. Setup a number of huge chances with inch-perfect crosses, but unlucky not to get an assist.
Pritam Kotal – 6.5
Operated in a back three again and put in a disciplined performance, keeping the right side secure and moved the ball forward nicely.
Sandesh Jhingan – 6.0
Not tested as frequently as the first leg, but did a good job to keep Ogbeche quiet and maintain a decent defensive line.
Subhasish Bose – 6.5
Bose operated as a centre-back again, but held his nerve against a barrage of attacks through his side. Made five clearances and two tackles, including some clutch challenges to avert danger.

Carl McHugh – 6.0
The Irishman used his physicality to win a number of key duels and protected his backline pretty well. Made three blocks and two tackles in an industrious effort, but his passing was awry.
Joni Kauko – 6.5
Imposed his authority in midfield by going that extra mile to win the ball in key areas and helped progress play swiftly. Created a few nice chances and had a last-minute effort from close range denied.
Hugo Boumous – 4.5
ATK Mohun Bagan’s most expensive player could not come up big when his team desperately needed it. Frustrated by Hyderabad FC’s hard-hitting challenges on him and missed a huge tap-in opportunity in the first half. Created some chances, but it wasn’t big enough to result in goals.
Kiyan Nassiri – 6.0
The youngster played as a right-winger, but showcased impressive energy to contribute on both ends. Did some solid defensive work and moved the ball around well, but lacked that spark to create something special.
Liston Colaco – 7.5
Liston was again a nightmare to defend against for Hyderabad FC and kept persistently making forward runs to trouble them. Swung in some inviting balls, including a perfect looped cross for Krishna’s goal.
Roy Krishna – 7.5
Krishna did not have it easy against Chinglensana and Juanan, but cleverly moved into open areas to set things up for his teammates. Produced a slick finish for his goal, but slightly unlucky not to get more – seeing his hard work unable to result into success.

Substitutes
Manvir Singh – 5.0
Too predictable with his work on the right-wing after coming on and couldn’t make any real impact.
Ashutosh Mehta – N/R
Helped his side against fast breaks and did some decent defensive work towards the end.
David Williams – N/R
Didn’t really look fit enough to do much after coming on.

Laxmikant Kattimani (GK) - 9.0
The custodian made several saves in order to help the team protect the lead from the first leg. A point-blank save from Krishna was one of the many and he was unlucky to not come away with a clean-sheet. Six saves, two catches, two clearances and three punches made him an essential player on the evening.
Nim Dorjee Tamang - 7.0
The right-back was busy and left the pitch without conceding a goal. His work rate in keeping Liston Colaco under check was particularly noteworthy until he was taken off, which led to the cross for Roy Krishna’s goal from the right flank.

Chinglensana Singh - 7.0
The centre-back had to double up with Tamang on the right to keep Colaco under check. He was good while marking attackers and kept close proximity with runners in between the gaps. Singh made four blocks, two interceptions and three clearances.
Juanan - 7.5
Juanan was immense as usual for the Nizams. He led the backline by example and was crucial in keeping ATK Mohun Bagan attackers at bay.
He marshalled the troops well to help Hyderabad FC into the final of the ISL. Five blocks, four interceptions and six clearances made Juanan indispensable.
Akash Mishra - 6.0
The left-back did not have an ideal outing as Prabir Das terrorized him on the flank and he almost gave away a penalty on the hour mark, getting a yellow card in the process. He failed to sniff out the danger that led to ATK Mohun Bagan’s first goal.
Souvik Chakrabarti - 6.5
The midfielder was important for the Nizams in the middle of the pitch, providing cover to the defence. He had to leave the pitch in the second half after suffering an injury. He made two clearances and two blocks in a strong defensive display.
Joao Victor - 6.5
The skipper was heavily involved in all aspects of Hyderabad FC’s performance. He made four blocks and four clearances in order to keep ATK Mohun Bagan’s attack silent.

Mohammad Yasir - 7.0
Mohammad Yasir was lively on the right flank, causing a lot of trouble to ATKMB with his crosses and movement. He created three scoring chances and also delivered three successful tackles in a good overall performance.
Aniket Jadhav - 5.5
The winger could not make a major impact on the proceedings. He created only one scoring chance and spent most of the time tracking back, providing support in defence. Only 27 touches in 66 minutes is a disappointing statistic.
Bartholomew Ogbeche - 6.5
The Nigerian did not score but he was crucial nonetheless. He had a shot on target and held the ball up the field, attracting five fouls. He did get a yellow card in the first half.
Javier Siverio - 6.0
The young Spaniard led the line and made ATK Mohun Bagan’s defence stay on their toes. He created one scoring chance but failed to attempt a shot on goal. He left the pitch in the second half when the team needed to protect the lead.

Substitutions
Sahil Tavora - 6.5
The midfielder replaced Souvik, making yet another appearance from the bench. He made two blocks and three clearances and was busy in defence.
Halicharan Narzary - 6.0
The winger came on the pitch as a second-half substitute in order to inject fresher legs. He had to defend for the major part of the game, but he did attempt one shot and made two crosses.
Asish Rai - 5.5
The right-back made an appearance from the bench, but his arrival was not ideal, as the cross for Krishna’s goal came from his side. Apart from that setback, Rai did not give Colaco a lot of room to work with.
Khassa Camara - 6.0
Came on to shore things in defence as ATK Mohun Bagan piled on the pressure. He did what was asked of him in the end, helping the team protect the lead.
Aaren D’Silva - 6.5
The defender came on from the bench to help resist ATK Mohun Bagan’s attacking onslaught. He had 13 touches in 12 minutes and made one clearance as well.
